If you search the used section at Amazon you can find some pretty good deals that way. As for his complete discography, I wish it was all available on CD but unfortunately it's not. I have quite a few of his records scattered across several different kinds of media (vinyl, cassette and compact disc) but it's far from complete. It's a travesty that so much of his work is out of print.

What's missing on CD besides Moon Child?
Jerry Jeff Walker (self titled)
A Good Night For Singing?
Reunion?

I'll look through everything and see what all is not for sale.

What do you need out of this list?
Are you wanting the original vinyl?

Or do you want just the songs that are not available on CD?

What songs are not available on CD or mp3 that you haven't heard or want?

There's quite a bit that's out of print or that's only available on cassette. As for Moonchild, I flat out to refuse to buy a mp3 only release. The least he could do would be to make it available in a lossless format. For the record, I have come around to mp3's as far as listening on my iPod but even then, I still buy records on either vinyl or CD. So that I don't have to lug around 500+ CDs like I used to, I'm willing to make the concession to listening to mp3's in my car for now, the same way I listened to cassettes (homemade and otherwise) in my car before CDs came along.

I thought there were only about 5-6 songs that were never on CD.

They made the Elektra Years available on CD and only 3 songs were missing I think.

When someone says they want to complete a collection, I assume original vinyls are wanted. On the other hand ...sometimes that just means they want a copy if the song to listen to.

I collected mostly only the vinyl when I couldn't find a song on CD or it was cheap in a record bin while shopping in antique and resale shops, so I have a few duplicates.

I see that It's A Good Night For Singing is on eBay.

You can also buy Jerry Jeff Red White and Blue on iTunes so some songs are now available digitally that weren't in the past.

I think iTunes is the way to go. Lots and lots if stuff there we used to only get on vinyl

I could not find
Rain Just Falls anywhere by Jerry Jeff except on the old cassette.

Also Jerry jeff walker 1972 is a great one to get on vinyl:

I think the Decca one is more of a collectible, but the MCA should be in better shape.

This one is on eBay:

One of my older brothers (same one that turned me onto Buffett, Goodman, Prine, Michael Murphy and Jerry Jeff) used to play A Good Night For Singin' all of the time. Knowing it was unavailable on CD, I snatched it up several years ago when I found it on vinyl. Someday, I still hope to upgrade my turntable so I can listen to some of the vinyl purchases I've made over the past ten years or so, not to mention all of the old stuff that remained in storage from 1999-2008 when I had to leave it there due to the onslaught of hurricanes when I still lived on the coast.

I hear ya about upgrading the turn-table. I got a new belt years ago and recorded some stuff on CDs. Glad I did It's A Good Night For Singin.' That old turntable is sounding more and more sluggish.

Nice also that Night For Singin is on youtube. Wondering how long the CDs will last...
Never tried recording stuff off of youtube. ;)
