nope.... took the survey, been to plenty of concerts, been to Mvilles, bought merchandise, they don't want to talk to me anymore. can only mean I'm not the demographic they're interested in.Bicycle Bill wrote:I went back and checked through my emails; I got one too but my email filter directed it right to the "spam" mailbox. I rescued it and started to take it; apparently if you complete the questionnaire to their satisfaction you would be invited to take part in some sort of online board/discussion running from Tuesday 9/4 thru Thursday 9/6. Anyhow, I got to the same point Remittance Man did where they asked how many shows you've been to. I'd been to Alpine Valley back in 2009 so clicked on the "0 - 3" level and at that point got a polite thank you and a message saying the survey was completed. Apparently they only want to talk with the hardcore concert-goers.
Anybody who did go through the rigamarole and ends up taking part in this, please let us all know what happened after Thursday, OK?

I took the survey ... then was invited to join some sort of "exclusive forum" or something.AlbatrossFlyer wrote:nope.... took the survey, been to plenty of concerts, been to Mvilles, bought merchandise, they don't want to talk to me anymore. can only mean I'm not the demographic they're interested in.Bicycle Bill wrote:I went back and checked through my emails; I got one too but my email filter directed it right to the "spam" mailbox. I'm doing the forum now. It's not so rough. A few quick answers, knowing that somebody is actually listening to the feedback we're giving (as opposed to just posting it somewhere and hoping it makes it to the powers that be), I get to influence a brand I thoroughly enjoy interacting with and I get a little cash at the end of it. Not such a bad deal.

I just finished the questions for day one. Not too bad. I am in marketing and rely on customer feedback for research so I am happy to take some time for a product or brand I enjoy.

I got the email on Monday (Labor Day) but didn't see it until Tuesday. First question asked if I was available for the chats starting Tue. When I clicked yes, it ended the survey. Talk about timing!

I'm in too. user LisaE
I can use the $50 if it is for real, and I do have time to answer the questions. They haven't asked for any personal details yet, so I don't think it is scammy, and I have done paid surverys before and gotten the money- usually much less though

Day two of the survey has a lot of questions regarding what being a Parrothead means to you and how Jimmy influences the Margaritaville brand. Some very interesting questions and answers.

Re: Itracks Margaritaville Online Study Invitation?
I just finished day 2's questions. Mostly about the brand. This is actually a pretty cool process and doesn't take too long. Plus I can leave it up, do some work then go back to it. There's no time table to get it done in so it's "at your liesure" as it should be when talking about Margaritaville.

Someone said she liked it better when Corona was the beer of choice. Well guess what, if you like Corona you can still drink Corona. You don't have to drink Land Shark just because "OMG it's Jimmy's beer.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Corona still sponsors Kenny Chesney, don'tcha know?LIPH wrote:Someone said she liked it better when Corona was the beer of choice. Well guess what, if you like Corona you can still drink Corona. And I have to say if we are going to a Buffett tailgate it is likely that Jon will briefly say 'Oh should we get Land Shark' before we both just laugh and get what we normally get. I think he is at least serious for about 3 seconds and then we both get over it. Fast.

Re: Itracks Margaritaville Online Study Invitation?
A couple of questions caught my attention. One about whether you have been to a Margaritaville Cafe or a Cheeseburger in Paradise. Mentioning them in the same sentence? Then a following question was would you like to have a smaller version of Margaritaville in your town. Expansion thinking?
