I've been to Alpine twice and that was once too often. I know people rave about how great it is but I think the venue sucks, the only reason to go back is to see people who I don't get to see at other venues.

Pittsburgh is a great venue and some of the best tailgating around. I hear Alpine is insane as far as tailgating. Is this true?

I haven't been yet! It's on this years to do list. Pittsburg was a bust for us last year. After sitting on the HWY for close to 4 hours then paying a parking fee at the venue I was disgruntled in the 90 degree heat. Venue was pretty good as far as the show went. Also found public transit in Pittsburg disappointing :(

I miss the Saturday night Pittsburgh shows. We used to go every year, i've switched up and started going to Bristow, Va mainly becuase it's been held on labor day weekend. I'd love to go back to Pittsburgh, it's only two hours from my house.

Even if Jimmy plays my backyard, the Pholks from PA will have me back there regardless.
Also loved the avenue, was a great lawn, with some wonderful people.

BERN!!! where ya been  We are certainly planning a return trip to the Burgh !

Every now and then we poke our heads out of the Southern Shores of Lake Erie snowdrift, or catch a momentary thaw to see when and where. Hope you two are well, and we cross paths again this year!

You need to ask the right questions. Or just ask questions. And hook up with the right people to find the best option.

With Camden being Tuesday 6/25, it's a fairly safe guess that Star Lake will be Thursday 6/27.

Saving my paid time off for a LOOOONG Buffett weekend if it happens to fall on a Thursday or Friday :) can't wait!

Although the traffic was horrendous last year, I will always return to Pittsburgh! best tailgaters around! And I love the bodypainter who paints beautiful things for jello shots! I had an amazing pirate ship on my leg one year and my friend had dolphins jumping across her boobs haha.... good times! Can't wait!

WOW! What an ego boost!I love body art and the pholks who get it done.Last year was terrible for painting. We got in late with a poor location, but face paint crayons taken inside allowed me to do 15 more people. So 513,I'll post my cell number closer to the concert. We can meet up easier.Bill
