What if Jimmy decided to give Soldier Field a try!? Just a thought. Kenny has now played there 2x's which has included an all day tailgate. I could see this as a possibility . . .

That would be fun! Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z just announced a show there on 07/22

Dates appear to be filling up pretty quickly everwhere else in the area yet Soldier Field sits right there by the lake with many weekend dates still available and my guess is promoters are talking about the venue because it's getting more dates in recent years from numerous larger national acts.

There's no reason to believe its out of the realm of possibility.

If we had a Jimmy date before the Jay-Z/on sale and it didn't interfere . . . I'd consider heading to this show too.

That would be awesome! I love Soldier Field! Great tailgating for Bears games and I saw Bon Jovi there a few years back and the sound was perfect!

I think Soldier Field would be great for inside the stadium experience but I think the parking lots are wwwaaaaayyyy to small to handle the volume of tailgating for Jimmy.

My bet is still on June 29th even though FMBA just announced Rush for June 28th. That would be quite the weekend as you can't miss a Rush show! Sounds like Alpine is getting the August show.

It has to get announced soon! And not soon enough!

I can't agree more with this needing to come out. I figured with all of the other shows being announced, we are real close. It's killing me!

A little off topic, but we're going to Chicago for the One Direction concert in July. Are there any areas around Tinley Park we should stay away from when getting a hotel? Bringing 2 Keets with. Thanks for any help!

Stay AWAY from ANYTHING EAST of I-57. Such as HARVEY, DOLTON, etc......

East of TP gets a little rough, northeast gets rougher. If you stay in the area (Tinley or Orland Park) you're good. Lots to do north of 159th on LaGrange. Enjoy.

There is a Super 8 in Mokena right down the street (191st) which is in a VERY SAFE area. You are right off I-80, and right across the street is a Denny's, White Castle, a nicer bar/restaurant (STONEY POINT) which also has an OTB for those who LOVE to watch Horses do what they do best.

Also behind that is a Bowling Alley too.

In a related story, there are plentiful park benches, bushes and even curbs which are surprisingly cheap and likely nicer than a Super 8

All jokes aside...when is the rest of this damn tour getting announced???

The Super 8 in Mokena is actually quite nice compared to ones you find in unforgiving towns.

Yeah, but.....it's a Super 8.

Anytime now, Jimmy & co....if it's going to be a June show, we'd like to know before May rolls around.

I'd rather a September show. If he were to do that, I may consider going again. Main reason being.... Kids are back at school ( Grammer, High School, and College) should make it a lil easier to score decent seats (only way I go is if I am in the first 15 rows----center section) Your not going to have people passing out due to the high humidity of the shitcago summers. We would get a lot more locals at the show since people who have kids will most likely not be able to go due to having to watch them and not bring them to the shows.

Thats just me though. I know I may come off as an A$$hole for that reason.... but hey, thats who I am. I am the one who would rather pay an extra C Note not to have to deal with anything and be guaranteed easy in-easy out and be home or back at the bar within 20 minutes of the show ending. I have seen Jimmy over 25 times, and well If I see him cool, if I don't..... well its not like I haven't seen him a bunch of times already.
