I'm glad you like the aerials. I'll pass that on to Lee. He loves to fly and take pictures.
Sorry we missed seeing you. You'll laugh when I post a picture of our parking space. I can't believe we didn't run into more friends.

Thanks for sharing the great photos. Jimmy did a great show last night and Jackson Browne was excellent. I enjoy the shots of the theater filled-up with anxious and happy fans. Alpine Valley is such a great venue, carved into the side of a natural valley in the rolling moraine landscape of southern Wisconsin. Yesterday sure beat all the ugliness of the Chicago show this year. I needed to end the summer on a high note and Jimmy delivered.

I'm glad you got to Alpine. I agree with you about Alpine being a great venue. Concerts always sound good at Alpine.

I'd love to see that whole backdrop as a poster.

The general shape of the island is that of a shark??? Now I DEFINITELY want one, either as a poster or on a T-shirt!

What the? I didn't get around much on Saturday, as we got parked around 4:30 or so, but I literally walked by your spot 6 times. I was going to say with blinders on, but if I'm not mistaken, you were across from the pretty cool tiki bar with the 'life size' bust cutout of Jimmy leaning on the bar... that grabbed my attention each pass. If that pic panned out about another two cars, you'd see gumbo gal's red Wisconsin Badger easy-up, which is where Ray and I visited a bit. (I can just see the corner of it.) I really need to try to be more observant and aware of my surroundings!
Another tour in the books... wonder what next year shall bring?
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

You mean this one? I guess that's pretty close

We parked around 4:00 and started playing catch up.

Only place we walked to was the fence to listen to Jackson Browne's sound check. I miss Captain P's tailgate's. It was nice to have everyone together.

Never been to Alpine but I thought all these amphitheaters were about the same size, e.g. 20,000 total seats or so...this place looks huge!

You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

That is really neat. I never noticed that in photos before.
I do love this scarf they were selling:
Artist is Betsy Baytos.

I would have loved to have seen the same amount of creativity put into the album cover. Very nice.

I remember seeing that up on the screen at the Bristow, Virginia show and thinking what a great album cover that would make. Oh well jimmy didn't ask us, but at least he heard about funkhouses nautical wheelers petition.
