Booked a room at the Hampton inn turnpike. It looked like the closest to the venue.

Chris and I went last year to the Cruzan Amphitheater to see ZBB and it is a great venue. Tailgating was allowed and it's a small amphitheater. We are not available that weekend but you will have a lot of fun there.

flights into Ft Lauderdale are Cheap on Jet Blue or Southwest....coming back on Sunday is pretty expensive.

i'd like to stay somewhere close to the water..plus maybe a round of golf or 2....venue is pretty far inland ( Royal Palm Beach , Wellington ) if i recall , i had a friend who lived not far from it , and his dad worked at the Fairgrounds. I did see a Hampton Inn that was pretty reasonable near 95. I haven't been to WPB / Jupiter area in years , and never stayed at a hotel there , friends condo's or with family...non who are down there anymore. So some help ( Jeff and Maureen ) on places to stay....

Looks like you hop on Okeechobee Blvd. & get to the beach without too much hassle. From the LaQuinta mapquest says 15 drive to Palm Beach.
