All fellow Parrotheads need to contact Bethel Woods regarding their BS tailgate policy. Quote "Parking lots for tailgating do not open until 3pm. No exceptions." They don't seem to realize the tailgate for us is a huge part of the day.

We're coming to the show on our way from Maryland to the Great Woods show on Saturday. Any idea when the lots may open? Just looking at the map and the rural location I'm sure we'll be stuck in traffic after the show but that's ok. Any locals have any tips to the venue?

3:00 PM Lots Open
6:00 PM Gates Open
8:00 PM Show Time

You are correct. I would imagine you can expect a lot of traffic. It is rural.
We're heading up a day early and camping nearby on the 16th and 17th and driving back on the 18th.
After all, it is Woodstock ... may as well make it a 3 day festival.

I saw that 3 was the standard opening. I was just wondering if perhaps they were opening earlier for Jimmy. But if they hold to that time, there are more back roads to party on than even at Star Lake!

Hey just wondering what time peeps are going to line up at the gates? we plan on being there around 1230 100. if enough show up maybe they open early.

I know this isn't the place but so close to show day. My GF's mom just went into Hospice care we can't go I have 2 lawn tix I'll sell for the price of one if anyone is interested. $51.50 for the pair...

Going too and have lawn seats. Bethel is less than an hour from my house. Can't believe Jimmy will be playing so close. Usually go to Jones Beach and stay for 2 nts. Have also been to Great Woods. But this is so great, no hotel, just drive home. Looks like we can't get in before 3.

The road into Bethel is a country road, one lane in. It will be quite crowded, but Bethel has always been very well organized. Saw Willie Nelson & Allison Kraus a couple of weeks ago & we were out of there in less than 20 minutes. Not sure how we will set up when we get there. The parking is a little close together.
Come stop by. Jello shots will be served! We'll have a sign up "This One's For Bubba!" Last year at Jones Beach we were the "Little Sistas of St. Somewhere." Anyone stop by our "Chapel"?
