Bub does look fearless in all the photos, regardless of position. [smilie=coolup.gif]

He is!!!!!

There were two kids on the offensive line. Both taller than my sister. Maybe as tall as my brother in law. Maybe taller. These two kids are monsters. Our biggest kid doesn't even come close, the biggest kid on the baseball team isn't even close to being the biggest kid on the Ravens football team.

Bub is the least fearless player, he won't flinch. He took a couple of hits that rattled him, but he dished out more hits that rattled opponents. He's a bruiser. The pictures are processing, I have been working on them all day. There are a lot of great players on the team, and Bub has separated himself from the rest.

My brother-in-law is the DC, he has bragged on other players and he doesn't want to be biased, and he knows and he saw it again this season. His and my sister's son, my nephew, NeeNee and Papa's grandson, Gunz/Nator's brother is THE player on the team. If it wasn't for him, we would have lost the game. The offense didn't produce until crunch time came, Bub produced and stole from the opponents every series he was on.

Again, no bias from me, total bias. Total bias for the player that stood up and led the team. Bub loves to hit, Bub loves to score, Bub loves to get a touchdown, the only thing he loves MORE, is stopping the other team from scoring! The baseball coaches called him the captain/leader of the team, because he is the best player and because he is the catcher. He's taken that title to everything he has done.

One of the players, a good player, on the team said he was going to try out for one of the tryout teams. Bub told him we are a team and we work together, then at practiced asked the other player's dad if he was going to leave the Sharks. He is going to stand up for himself, his buddies and his team. He is everything I preach, everything I want to see, everything I BEG OUR country to be. I want to make memes. Pictures of Bub, saying,

"Make Baseball Great Again"
"Make Football Great Again"
"Make Teamwork Great Again"
"Make Friendship Great Again"

And this is all based on things I have heard from other kids' parents! They tell me how hard Bub is working for his team! Bub and this other kid, are so bloody much alike, the other kid wants to top Bub and he's not going to. For Bub it's natural, for the other kid it's oneupsmanship.

Sharks/Ravens always a great tandem.

So, get the crazy out of the way. Just so you know I'm not crazy.

Bub, is under concussion protocol right now. My absolute favorite baseball/football player of all time!!!! The best I have ever seen.

Last week during the game he got a helmet to helmet hit. I didn't see it, but everybody heard it.

My opinion, he should not be playing anywhere on the offense, he doesn't like it. He likes defense. A kid slammed his helmet into Bub's. My sister took him to the ER on Saturday, went to a specialist this morning. No double header tonight, no baseball game on Wednesday, no football game on Saturday.

His only interest is sports. He can't play and he is devastated. Throw up some PHins for our Shark All-Star!

He is going to go out and support his team from the bench this week, and I will be there to shoot pictures of our teams!

The double header went about as expected without Bub.

I will say I don't know if everyone came together to pick him up or if they thought this was their opportunity to be the big dog on the team, but there was some great play out there.

As far as I know at best, Bub will only get to play the last game of the season.

That was brutal on everyone last night. A double header on a Monday night, on a school night no less. I was disappointed that the facilities didn't have some hot dogs ready for these boys. They didn't have enough time to get something to eat between games.

I was talking to one of the coaches that didn't realize Bub couldn't play anything all week. His son is also on the football team and we have a powerhouse match up this week. The only two unbeaten teams, we need our defensive play maker this week. Still some great pictures taken, I'm five behind with a game tomorrow. I'm hoping I can catch up.

I need an intern, I would prefer a redhead. :pirate: 8)

One more game to go this season.

This season started the day after MLB's season started. It has been LONG.

Last night's game was brutal. The team we played against should not be playing in a competitive league. I felt bad for them, the Sharks coaches felt worse for them. It got so bad they tried to cut them so slack after two innings. Then it became just stop the bleeding. We had a lineup like I had never seen and it was one of the team's best performance I have seen. Six pitches was all that was thrown one inning.

You don't have to be a ball player or fan to know that there are rules in place to limit pitches and pitchers. Two pitchers and they both exceeded their limits. This wasn't a matter of team being bad players, it was a matter of coaches not paying attention. I've mentioned that we have at least four people keeping track of pitchers, pitch counts. They didn't care and that is not on the players, no where near the players. That was poor coaching.

I have seen practices, pick up games more competitive than this. I truly felt bad for the other team. They were down to only eight players on the field. Every player on the Sharks team will go out and give every ounce of themselves every game. I have seen it, I have shot it. Every time these boys get an opportunity to step there game up they will and the team they played last night, they did nothing but scream at and insult each other.

I really want to see everyone enjoy the game. That team should spend more time working their way up to playing at this level.

The Sharks have one game to go on the season.

It has been 8 months these boys have played, I don't remember playing anything more than a month. We started after school ended and played during the All-Star game and finished, probably that night. I never saw an All-Star game until I became an adult.

They started practice in February and kicked off the season in April. Playing until October. These kids have so much stuff going on. It would have benefited us kids out in the country to do something like this.

Anyways my post was about a picture being worth a thousand words, when sometimes one will do.

The beast was released on Monday and was he ever. He didn't care about being on offense, he told his coaches he only wanted to play defense. And only play defense did he. The only smart thing this team did was keep it away from Bub. On the first series he slapped the ball away from the runner and the Ravens grabbed a fumble. They scored and on the next series, the first play, Bub was in the back field wrapping up another loss. After that it was a route.

30-0 and it wasn't even that close. The Ravens offense blasted to that lead in the first half, they backed off in the second half but the defense behind Bub pitched a shutout.

We've got a big rematch to the team we lost to on the 22nd. We have a full blown pep rally planned. The cheerleaders are making banners and signs, the cowbells are on their way, the smokers are being prepped the menu is being created. It is going to be out of this world, for a bunch of 3rd graders.

I'm doing pictures in sections right so I don't have "The Beast" yet, but I do have the boss! She jumped in to shoot a few pictures.

She's already good, this could be used as a stock image.

I hear that she isn't that photogenic, but I don't buy it.

The Sharks season is over, mercifully.

Last game of the season.

Tied 5-5, going into the 3rd inning. Bub's up to bat, making good contact. Third strike, catcher drops the ball, Bub takes off for first, overthrow, Bub rounds second, hits third and takes home for the lead.

Everyone says they have never seen that before.

The Sharks shut them out in the top of the 4th. His best buddy is up the next inning. Does the exact same thing. Strikes out. Catcher drops it. Over throw to first. Two inside the park home runs from dropped 3rd strikes.
