I sure hope not.
With his "ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE" musical in its first leg I would think he would want to babysit it.
Plus, my source in Frisco indicated June 10 was the date and they were just waiting for the Toyota Stadium folks to give the official OK to announce it.
Of course, Jimmy is 70 now and has said he wanted to cut back some on touring. So I guess we'll all just have to wait until someone gives us the official fins up.

If Planosmith1 says it June 10th then you can take it to the bank. He has nailed the date the last 3 or 4 years!! Always weeks in advance of the official announcement too.

this has always been a bucket list. I am still in school though and would be tough to get there in early/mid june.

I'm wondering who will be the opening act.
Last year ZZ Top cancelled and Jerry Jeff Walker filled in. Personally I was fine with that - been a big Jerry Jeff fan since the 1970s, along with Jimmy. ZZ Top is OK, but when you've seen them a dozen times, its pretty much the same old act.
Huey Lewis and the News were really good - I was pleasantly surprised.
John Fogerty was fantastic. I'd love to see him again.
Jackson Browne was great. I mean - its Jackson Browne - how could he not be great.

I was wondering the same thing. It appears that ZZ Top is touring and the whole month of June is open. I wouldn't be surprised to see them. By the way, official announcement is going to be early in February.

I looked at ZZ Top's schedule also and saw they were open in June. I figure Jimmy will want to have them back this year to make up for last year.

With the exception of Frisco(which was January 12th-ish), almost all of last year's dates were announced in early-to-mid February.

I don't believe he is going to have a new tour this year. Vegas and Wrigley in July are part of the I Don't Know Tour.

Which is odd because merchandise is a big sell on tours. If they kept it I DK which it seems so then they are not going to sell as much merchandise I would imagine. Though, I guess, wrigley would probably have a special shirt anyway. Looks like it maybe true that's jimmy is not doing the "usual" tour stops and such. Maybe just wrigley and a couple other big shows

I saw where Vegas' tickets go on sale Feb. 13, but if you go to the secondary ticket outlets like Vividseats you can buy them right now.
What's up with that?
And I agree with BigFinandLittleFin - I'm calling the tour Escape to Margaritaville.
I already have the "I Don't Know" T-shirt and don't need another.
