Re: Who's going to Orlando on May 13 to see JB?
What time does the Geico Garage open, if you happen to know? Thanks.tgatorglass wrote: ↑February 15, 2017 7:22 am At the new arena there is absolutely no parking for the RV anywhere close that I am aware of. They open up lots blocks and blocks away.
The top of the garage has been good to us the last two concerts. First concert at the new arena we were about the only one up top with anything to do with tailgating. We still had a great time and think we fed about half the staff that year. They had parking at the old arena and the walk was terrible to the new one. The next one was fully charged and fantastic.
Many of the vendors were up top last time with their own tents and grills.
There are a few lower areas around that are privately owned and fill up quickly. Not sure what the rules and charges for those are.
Either way, the elevators in the garage allow great access to both areas and there is a lot of back and forth between.
Hope this helps and you are welcome to join us under out tent up top where we will have plenty of food and jello shots for all.
Cheers and have a great day.
More Doyle!

Here is a parking map that has opening times for the different lots. No prices but you gotta have some surprises in life, right?

Central FL PH club is getting started at 9-10am across from geico garage on the paved lot, no parking in there lot just pre-reserved tents, but they will have number of bands through out the day. One or 2 lots over on the same road 416 S. Divison Ave. across from the Geico garage. lot opens 10 or earlier. $25 to park. Friend and I tracked down the management company sent in checks to secure passes. But it will be open to the public day of. But my guess is it will fill up fast and early, since it is a surface lot and there are 4 bands playing in the lot, thanks to Mobiletiki. Hoping to phlock with all you phellow parrotheads on Saturday! Fins Up!tgatorglass wrote: ↑May 5, 2017 5:20 pm Gieco Garage opens at 7:00. The rest open between noon and 2:30

Posting this in the Orlando show in case someone there wants to go to Tuesday's WPB show.
Hi. I just received my Premier Parking Pass for the West Palm Beach show. Unfortunately, we aren't going to be able to make it on a Tuesday. If anyone wants it i'd be happy to give it away. I'm in Miami however if you're attending the Orlando Show Saturday night, we could arrange to meet and hand off before the show.

Reminder information on the tailgate scene for BuffettNews in Orlando:
416 South Division Avenue, Orlando, FL 32805. The lot is grass and gravel with decent tree coverage. We'll be there early to setup the stage and start playing tunes while folks roll in.
JD Spradlin from Radio Margaritaville with start around 10am, and keep us entertained until the musicians kick in, as well as during musician breaks.
Dave McKenney will kick off the musical acts around 1130am.
Jimi Pappas, John Patti, and Sunny Jim have formed a new trio going by the name Tropicool, and I can't wait to hear them together. The guys will be playing solo, various duos, and as the trio throughout the afternoon, with musical entertainment ending around 7pm so folks can pack up and prepare to head into the concert.
The lot we're in charges $25 per car, and I have secured a number of prepaid parking passes and have a couple available in case someone wants to reserve one. Donations towards the entertainment expenses are appreciated but not required, and anyone that donates $150 or more I'll provide you a free parking pass. Thanks to the generosity of planned pledges so far we're over half way towards our entertainment expenses, which is great news!
See you there Saturday! If you are on Facebook and would like an invite to the tailgate Facebook event, just let me know who to friend and I'll send you an invite. We also have a monorail bar crawl planned for Friday evening, in case folks would like to experience some adventure around the Disney area.
