Wow! Can't believe he is actually playing here this year. Only 40 minutes away from me...
I am only hesistant this year because it is still the same tour as last year.... SOASOAS 19? I am not sure if I am going to commit esp since all the shows are on Mville TV too.
I think last year the new name came out later, too. It will be a new tour/new merch.
Yeah, I think you are right. However, I think the one year of the I DK Tour he ran it for two summers at the same location. This might be the same case. Only Time Will Tell
As for PNC, years ago they cracked down hard on tailgating. Kenny used to play there and lots would open around 10AM. Then someone overdosed at Ozzy I believe and they really shut it down. They started to allow "country shows" to tailgate around 4pm. The state trooper presence is INSANE (station next door). When I went to ZBB about 5 years ago, I saw at least four underage arrests in a matter of two hours. All of this is not relevant if you are of age and responsible but just wanted to make the point that PNC does not mess around when it comes to tailgating anymore. This maybe a late ticket purchase for me. Going to see if the tour name changes.
This is part of the info from the venue:
Tailgating
Permitted in the lots for 21 and over for ALL SHOWS
shouldn't this mean they actually "card" people coming in?

Live car/dead car
That's not an issue at this venue because of the way the parking lot lanes are structured, there are grass medians with trees between each parking row. Unless they send people to the overflow lot way on the north side (if that's even still there).
I'm hopeful we can get in earlier than 4. 11am is probably not happening but maybe 1p? And as noted, we may have a couple of off-site gathering options.

Don't forget
Tix on sale Monday, Jan 14 at 10:00
Ironically, I took off today to make sure I didn't have any interruptions while trying to get tix for GW.
I would have been off on Mon but we have mandatory training 9-1, go figure
Possible silver lining, we are getting snow Sat night into Sun. If for some reason the county is closed or has a delayed opening then it will be cancelled. Phins crossed for that!!

Tuesday show so I don't see a sell out, although it's been ages since Jimmy played there so who knows? I'll be on line Monday morning so I can get yours with mine if you're working. And, like GW, probably easy to pick up a single close to the show anyways.

So based on the horrific Livenation experience happening with the GW sale today I am wondering if we should try to get our local friends to go to the Arts Center box office to purchase. I will check with my friend. Maybe Colleen and Mike could as well, they are close by.
Ticket limit for this show is four per person.

Do you know that tickets are sold there?
They used to open the ticket counters at JLL (Bristow) back in the day but I think stopped that a while ago.

Web site says they don't anymore. Purchase all tix via Livenation.

Can also do it over the phone with Ticketmaster. Not sure if that will be any better.
Not worried if I can't score something Monday morning, I never have problems picking up singles close to or day of the show. And I cannot imagine a Tue show selling out. We'll all be fine.

Never been to this venue -- is it smaller than others? If so, then even a Tuesday show could have potential ticket-getting issues.
It holds 17k seats and lawn.

Wondering if it will be similar to the Camden shows where everything with a seat will be one price and the lawn will be one price. But always as we got closer to the date, the seats in the back dropped to the same prices as the lawn seats.
Since he hasn't played here in forever, I think I might just have to bite the bullet and pony up on Monday, to make sure I get tix.
For anyone who hasn't been to Holmdel before, if it rains, the lawn can be a disaster due to the angle. Wearing baseball cleats wouldn't be the worst idea on earth!
