I don't have a clue what the answer is but I would think pop culture would increase, not decrease, sales of an item. Whatever it is, all the trendoids would want it so they could think they were one of the cool kids.

Right you are, LIPH, but if something is dead or old or un-hip in pop culture it won't be long before it fades and disappears. Remember fidget spinners? Sold for around ten bucks apiece or more, they were hotter than hell for a while, and now you can find them in rummage sales and dollar stores everywhere.
So I'm going to say "headphones", since the new hip thing is the wireless/Bluetooth 'air buds' ... and of course the fact that the newest Apple and Samsung phones don't even have the miniature jacks to plug headphones into any more.

Condolences on the loss of your brother, and sorry to hear about your medical woes. Hope the surgery was minor, routine, and issue-free, and the prognosis is good. Take care of yourself. We want you back, sound and healthy.
