Full Moon FRIDAY 13th@ the MSC
Good morning BN. The harvest moon aided farmers with it's glow to get in the crops.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Full Moon FRIDAY 13th@ the MSC
Hello Bill & Debbie and all others who get a chance to stop by.
Nothing much going on at Ringville except a visit on Sunday to a local "pop-up beer garden" that has 2 local musicians we like to "follow".
After this weekend our Sept & Oct schedule is on the crazier side with lots of events/dr visits/social activities.

Good morning Bill, Deb, and Linda!
It's Oktoberfest at our favorite brewery tomorrow. Otherwise known as a "Beer Holiday", and I'm the driver.
E had a flat tire when he was about to leave work for the day. He changed it, but will have to deal with that today.
Have a good Friday!!

Good phriday morning pholks. Back at work today, gonna try my hardest to keep it accident free today. Wish me luck. I volunteered to work tomorrow since there are 2 weddings and we need at least 2 people in the shop. Plus, the extra hours will help make up for my sick day I took this past Monday.
Took my last antibiotic this morning, still coughing and back muscles still very sore. I'm thinking some hot tub time might feel really good this weekend since we are supposed to have a little cooler weather after the 92 degrees we are expecting today.

Good morning. I drove my granddaughter to school today while wearing a white hockey mask.
She got a kick out of it. Some people smiled and waved. Others freaked out.

Good morning. I just heard that Eddie Money died this morning, he was 70 years old. The last time I saw him in concert was about 4 years ago when he was here at the House of Blues. He was a Long Island boy, grew up in Levittown. His father and brother were both NYPD.

RIP Money Man!! He also did a short stint as a cop.LIPH wrote: ↑September 13, 2019 10:50 am Good morning. I just heard that Eddie Money died this morning, he was 70 years old. His claim to fame here in Michigan was the unofficial beginning of summer....as for many years he was the first act to hit the Pine Knob outdoor concert venue stage a week or so prior to Memorial Day. I'd still go see him every 3rd year or so. I think 2 years ago was the last time. You knew what you were getting from Eddie. You knew all the songs...pretty much all the words. Late in his career he'd start singing the song & as the crowd was singing along he'd kinda let them take over for a stretch. Loved his songs stretching back to '77.

The last couple of times I saw Eddie, his daughter Jesse was his backup singer. I thought she had a pretty good voice but I also thought it was a little creepy hearing her do the Ronnie Spector part on "Take Me Home Tonight".

Morning, BN. I have "Two Tickets To Paradise" in my head. Not a bad one to have on repeat.
Today is the Chinese moon festival and Korean autumn eve (aka thanksgiving). No plans since I met my family and relatives for dinner in the past few days. But might buy some Korean rice cake stuffed with sesame paste and sesame oil. Mmm.

Afternoon BNers
Got ready to go to Walmart when Ryan reminded me that we don't have transportation.
The car we took on trips is still in the shop because the ac went out last trip.
And Larry has lunch with the guys on Fri so he has the other car.
Guess the Walmart trip will wait.

She was ok, but to disagree Larry IMO she was strictly there for A) Eye Candy & B) There to collect a paycheck which in turn Eddie could write off as an expense.
He also had a son who was playing some guitar & did a couple songs. See Part B from above.
In the tax & accounting business we always recommend to hire your kids for the tax write off......

I had a couple of errands to run and it's really humid today. I did my old person impression and went to the mall instead of the park to take my daily walk.

Just filled out paperwork exempting me from ever (I hope) getting another jury summons .
Guess it is an advantage of having this many birthdays.

Congratulations, Molly! I was called twice for civil court and only lost one day in court. I thought of the process as part of life, till the O.J. trial. A pundit pointed out jury duty is the only form of servitude in this country and those jurists lost a year of their lives because it dragged on.springparrot wrote: ↑September 13, 2019 6:08 pm Just filled out paperwork exempting me from ever (I hope) getting another jury summons .

My physical abilities aren't what they used to be but neither is my mind. I wouldn't want me on a trial.
