National M&M Day Sunday @ the MSC
Kids love ’em, adults feel nostalgic eating them, and they won’t melt in your hand, just in your mouth — we’re talking M&M’s here. It’s National M&M Day, so get ready to celebrate. Created in 1941, this iconic candy has been a staple for over 75 years.
Yep, I still love them.
A Mom visit day, then back home for finishing laundry, and spaghetti/meat sauce for dinner.
Have a good Sunday!!

(Odd) people like me that don’t like chocolate aren’t celebrating this National day.

Its a chilly 34 here today, gonna lay low inside and do laundry, and take care of the patient as she continues to recuperate.
Happy Sunday! And I love peanut m&m's the best.

Good morning. I love M&Ms, maybe I'll buy a bag the next time I go grocery shopping. When I was still working I used to get M&Ms from the candy machine in the pantry almost every day, they had a small package for $1. I had a routine when I ate them:
1. open the package and empty the M&Ms onto a napkin
2. eat 3 of the same color at a time (I don't know why 3 and not 2 or 4 )
3. when there weren't 3 of any color left, eat 1 at a time until they were all gone
I know, I ain't right.

Good morning BN. We had 420 attend the lantern tour at the ghost town last night. The full moon added to the magic.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I had a cousin fired from the "M and M" factory. He kept throwing away all the "W's".
Who's got the rum?

Morning BNers
Had a nice time in Brenham and enjoyed the music.
Did I tell you last trip that the venue used to be a laundry?
And they washed all the sheets for the Chicken Ranch?????

Re: National M&M Day Sunday @ the MSC
Good late afternoon BN''ers! Peanut M&M lover here. These days my fix comes in the form of Breyers ice cream with M&M's. Good Stuff.
So yesterday my daughter & girlfriend had set up a belated surprise Birthday party for me to celebrate how this Pirate Looks at 60!.
The surprise was almost on them. The ruse was to have me watch my grandson about 4:00 at daughters place while my daughter & hubby went out for a while. Of course my girlfriend had told me earlier in the week she had a "girls night out planned .
Well, I had planned on either taking grandson to a movie or the local hockey game. Fortunately I didn't purchase hockey tix ahead of time. Of course I also got to my daughters about 15 minutes early so we could make the 4:15 movie (that was my final decision over hockey game). When I saw my Bro-in-law & Sis-in-law's car no suspicion, thought they may have been out & about & just dropped in but then I saw my Son's jeep & ole detective Ken figured it out. But all was cool. Just a small gathering of about 15 or us. Burgers/dogs/etc. Good chatter & a couple of crafty beers
Good Times!!!

I cannot eat a blue and yellow one together. Because of my hatred for TTUN. Also, When we play pool and I am racking the balls (an Ohio State set of billiard balls) I cannot put the blue and yellow balls next to each other! I know...but I'm stupid superstitious about it.LIPH wrote: ↑October 13, 2019 10:11 am Good morning. I love M&Ms, maybe I'll buy a bag the next time I go grocery shopping. Thanks, Penny! She seems to be doing well for the most part. Eating soft food and trying to keep pain meds on board. She says it feels like a golf ball stuck in her throat. Getting her settled into bed in a few minutes, and I'm not far behind her.
