Morning, peeps. Breezy and cool out but the sun is shining.

Have to work for a few hours this morning, then we're going to do a mini-pub crawl at some of the deck bars that have opened around town this week.

Have a wonderful day! :wench:

They are saying maybe 85 and muggy here in Michigan today. I am ready. I got most of my chores done yesterday and now I am sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and watching my dog watch people go by.

Have a few things to do this morning then gonna go out and pick up a few things for a family BBQ later today. I am ready for every day to be sunny and hot.

Take care all!!
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

PA is currently one of the most locked down states in the country.

But there is now some EXCITEMENT here in Lancaster County.

As a result of a written scathing protest from our republican county commissioners and state house & senate reps to our democratic governor we are FINALLY scheduled to move from Red to Yellow Covid phase on June 5.

Good morning!! Our home phone and internet has been down for about 20 hours now. 😒Gonna go visit my sister cause it's her birthday today. We're also going to do a Facetime visit with Mom while we're there. I'm outta here for now so I don't use up all of our data. Have a good Sunday!!😊

Good morning. It's been a coffee and corn flakes kind of day so far. Other than no more corn flakes and switching from coffee to beer later, I don't see much changing the rest of the day.

edit: And just as I typed that my phone buzzed. I got an email from the reunion committee for my 50th high school reunion. It was supposed to be in September on Long Island. It's been cancelled. The email says they're "hopeful" that it can rescheduled in 2021. I hadn't made my hotel reservation or rented a car yet, but I just bought my plane ticket last week. Oh well, another credit card that will have a credit balance.

Afternoon BNers

It is trying to storm big time. So much thunder and some rain. Looks like this could be set in all day.

Anyone else miss the usual Memorial day activities? Family picnic and Indy 500.....

Good afternoon BNers.

I'm hearing thunder and I pulled up the weather radar app on my tablet to see if I'm going to get wet. The app opened up and placed me in Algeria. Nothing but desert.

Shorts?

Nope, not here. Freezing in my jocks.

Wet, miserable and windy.

I was flipping through the channels to see if there was anything good on TV this afternoon, I should have checked sooner. The Godfather is on but there's only about 45 minutes left.

No, only from when I started watching. But it's not like I haven't seen it about 20 times already. Part 2 is on next, I can watch that from the beginning.

Evening, peeps. No pub crawl. We hung a new storm door instead. We're going out tomorrow to meet my sister so that will be our play day. Whee.

Interesting read about drive-in style concerts. I think Parrotheads could work with this. :wench:

Sounds like there's a lot of people around the country who have had internet issues today. John Frinzi's livestream got cut short this morning because of connection stuff. 85 and sunny here in northern West Virginia. Mimosas have been consumed. On to beer now. Grilling some steaks and asparagus later and watching golf and then the Charlotte race this evening. Good day!

It was a beautiful day - low-mid 80s, sunny, bright blue sky. There was only a 20% chance of rain but the western sky is looking kind of threatening now.

Lead story on the 6:00 news - 6 people arrested after gang related shootings along Ocean Blvd. late last night and early this morning. Police said none of the suspects are locals. If a$$holes want to shoot each other, go right ahead. But stay home, don't come here to do it.
