It is 2 am and so far nothing that was connected to Laura has come to visit. We thought we were going to get some wind and rain, but so far, nope. I am watching local coverage from Lake Charles and Beaumont. Wow. Those areas are taking a pounding.
I am dreading what we will see when the sun comes up.....

I am not sorry we are not getting moisture and am sorry the Texas/Louisiana borders are getting 92 mph sustained winds.
Stay strong in those areas. ❤❤❤

We've been watching the weather channel with sadness as the amount of projected damage continues to increase. I was on a Katrina Relief team from our church and saw that devastation in person for the first time .

I'll have another uneventful day at work since the Judge is on his annual Maine vacation and won't return to Chambers until Tuesday. I'm good with that.

What a night. Laura couldn't decide where she wanted to go but ended up in Lake Charles area. After all the preparations and evacuations in Texas, nothing happened. Nothing. No rain. No wind. Nothing.
I hope the next time a hurricane comes this way that people don't ignore it.
