It's the day you've all been waiting for

It's NATIONAL WHIPPED CREAM DAY ---add a little extra something special to desserts to celebrate National Whipped Cream Day. Add whipped cream! Not only does it add creaminess and a bit of pizzaz, but it also makes the difference between the ho-hum or a celebration kind of beverage or dessert.
This holiday falls on the birthday of Reddi-Wip founder Aaron “Bunny” Lapin (January 5, 1914 – July 10, 1999). Lapin invented Reddi-Wip in 1948, and the holiday celebrates whipped cream’s contributions to the dessert world.

We're heading out at 8:00 for Kevin's back MRI -- he's got some DDD at C6, 7, 8. We'll try to get the surgery scheduled as soon as possible (it's outpatient so we don't need to wait for any local hospital to have space since all 4 of those in our insurance network are packed with COVID-related patients). I'm his taxi since he only does MRI's with drugs. He has severe claustrophobia with these machines and even those they call open aren't open enough for him (just like his mom)......

Yes, the General Election in November. But there were two races in GA that was too close to call, so they have a "runnoff election". It's not unusual in elections. There's a % margin that a candidate must win by, otherwise they have a runnoff vote.

Good morning BN. Good luck to Kevin on MRI day! I do remember those days as a kid sneaking the can of whipped cream outta the fridge & shooting a quick squirt into my mouth when mom wasn't around. Not so hell bent on whipped cream theses days.

Sending good vibes to Kevin for his MRI. I too left my house at 8:00 for an appointment with a cardiologist. First time appointment and because of COVID, Bryan couldn't accompany me. Been having some episodes of pain and burning in my right shoulder that radiates down my arm into the palm of my hand and sometimes up the side of my neck. So my primary care doctor decided I should have a cardio look see. I'm hoping that it's just a pinched nerve or something like that
I love whipped cream. Yum.
