Not bad. Still have appetite. Not sure if chemo will kick in but possible next 24 hours, a week after I got it. So far hair intact.

Hair is overrated.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Rasspy doesn't dig the back hair......
She told me that when I had my chance with her when driving her back to her hotel after the shin dig at the San Remo. The back hair was a turn off. This maybe a good thing.

Dentek makes some good OTC direct applicators and patches for the mouth sores, they really helped alot, moog. Also, use toothpaste for sensitive teeth or kiddie toothpaste - the stuff with whiteners can really burn during this time.moog wrote: February 9, 2022 5:50 pm Mouth showing signs of chemo reaction. taking a mouthwash to hold off sores no it s not a std michi

Hi
So far no problem. Been brushing and had ice chips during the chemo which was to help prevent sores. Been a week already in this hospital. Day 5 into infusion stage.

Picked up some "kiddie" toothpaste that was on sale cheap cheap awhile back. It was Bubblegum flavored!! Which sounded good at the time, but upon review & usage...lime rickie wrote: February 9, 2022 6:00 pmDentek makes some good OTC direct applicators and patches for the mouth sores, they really helped alot, moog. Here's a crazy thing to watch for -
My fingerprints disappeared! The chemo does a number on your skin. If this happens you may not be able to authenticate in with fingerprint, so make sure you have some passwords/codes set up for your phone, ipad, etc.
Doesn't happen to everyone but skin side effects were huge for me.
