Good morning. We were spoiled by those midweek 70-75 degree temperatures. It never made it out of the 50s yesterday and it's 46 with rain in the forecast today. Maybe I'll drink some coffee and go online to schedule some bill payments.

Good morning Coffee is ready, laundry is going and I'll be heading to the kitchen soon to start a batch of homemade dinner rolls. We're going to have dinner at the old house with 2 of the 3 girls and their guys. There will be Roasted Whole Chicken and mashed potatoes by the youngest. A charcuterie board and veggie by the middle. My contribution will be rolls, gravy and dessert. Feasting will commence around 5:30 as we all have to work tomorrow.

Afternoon, peeps.

Took the pup for a walk around town but other than that it's a lazy day in Vacationland.

I was on my way to the park for my daily walk and it started raining. I detoured to the mall and did my senior citizen workout instead. The Hurricanes have an afternoon game so I set the DVR before I went out, now I'll have a beer while I watch the game and fast forward through the commercials.

It is trying to warm up...finally. yes, it is in the 50's but still cooler than I like.

Kevin decided to invite his mom for dinner. It was to be pork tenderloin with some veggies. Then we invited daughter and son in law to stop by. They offered to bring pizza. Pork tenderloin will be tomorrows dinner. . My mother-in-law will find out about the menu change when she gets here. I predict major whining which may cause me to do some of my own wine-ing.

The Hurricanes won. I should probably have something to eat now, I haven't eaten since breakfast.

We did a big 11:00 AM beach lunch, so a delayed dinner here.

One of those days that has a tad chill in the air, then when the sun comes out it real warm, then back, then back again......you can wear shorts, but need a pull over at times.......I just kept the pull over on, and when got too warm, drank a cold beer. Problem solved.

My goodness. Do I understand that BIG TIME!!!.....just that it is MY mother and she drives my wife insane !!!!

it is my own mother than I learned a whole bunch about since my father passed away 15 years ago which is the issue. And then to bring my wife into the equation with her own set of issues, not a good mix in the blender.
