Good morning Penny and Bill. I never heard of Larry Day

There's a blood drive at the mall and I have an appointment at 12:30 so I probably shouldn't have a beer.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Good afternoon Penny, Bill & BN.

Good afternoon & Happy Larry day, Larry! It's just like you to spend a National day in your honor helping others . Me thinks you should have a beer this evening as a pat on the back.

Slight lull between the heavy rain earlier and the possible serious storms this afternoon and night.
My Captain gave me a gift card at a local salon for admin prof day so I figured today would be a good day for a pedi. Guessing everyone else thought the same [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif] Oh well, the only other option I for today was couch surfing with the pups & I can still do that later

Hope everyone enjoy's Larry's national day too!

The Red Cross employees at the blood drive were all wearing name tags. One guy's last name was Smalls. He must have weighed 300 pounds. Reminds me of a pitcher the Pelicans had last year, Luke Little. He was 6' 8". One of the other employees was a woman I remember from a previous drive. Every time she asked a question, after I answered she would say "alriiiight".

They were giving boxes of Girl Scout cookies to all donors but they didn't have any thin mints. I took a box of shortbread cookies.

Now that I'm a pint low, I guess that means someone will be getting a dose of Larryness.

Did laundry and Bryan and I went to the basement and decided which cabinets are going where in the kitchen area. I made a big batch of Italian meatballs for dinner tonight and to put in the freezer. We need to decide if we're having meatball subs or bsketti and meatballs.

I forgot to mention this earlier. I'm sort of named after my grandfather, his middle name was Lawrence. My mother wanted to spell it "Laurence" but she was overruled

We ate a bsketti dinner at a fundraiser. It was a small enough meal, once home I ate chicken salad.

Evening BNers

Looks like I forgot to check in earlier.

Watching the Astros/Phillies game. 4-2 in the 5th....Astros are up so far.We would be better if Roger Clemens son, Cody would quit hitting HR for Phillie. 😜 He hit one yesterday, too.

I just remembered a story. Years ago, when Cody was in HS.
Mrs Clemens went out to get in the Hummer to run errands. The Hummer was missing. I kinda remember Roger being awarded the Hummer for some reason. Anyway, she panicked and called the cops to report the Hummer stolen. A few hours later, the vehicle was found at a local HS. Cody thought it would be fun to drive it to school. Opps.

A late checkin for me today. After church we bottled 29 bottles of black raspberry wine. The sample I had was tasty. Not as sweet as I thought it would be and that’s OK by me.

We’ve had three straight days of rain. And it looks to be the same tomorrow. I need sun.

I entered a Stanley Cup bracket online. I picked the Panthers in 7 games, not because I thought they would win but because I'm from NY and I couldn't pick a team from Boston to win anything.
