SATURDAY is Saturated @ the MSC
Good morning BN. The east got or will get weather today. Linda and Big John may need to shovel later.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Me thinks you mean Kevin . . Actually I don’t mind it. It seems now it may be mostly rain.bodypainter wrote: ↑January 6, 2024 7:51 am Good morning BN. The east got or will get weather today. Linda and Big John may need to shovel later.

Daily Mom update. . Went to Costco to cancel her membership (from 1998). We had her card but of course whichever of her 8 credit cards she may have used have been closed. they gave us a refund if the $60 membership fee in cash. Yesterday we took a copy of the POA to the drugstore to have Theo phone contact # changed to mine. When they call her that a script is ready she was freaking out. Calling us over and over that she “need my medicine”. She has plenty. All of her pills are safe in a secret box that she can’t reach in the garage.

We be wet here in the Upper LH Corner too.... We've had 80% of our average month of January rainfall in the first five days of the month.
I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

Good morning.
It rained earlier and we're supposed to get another 1-2 inches of rain this afternoon. Right now it's just damp and windy so I decided to stay inside and do laundry. Maybe I'll have some coffee while the washer is washing and the dryer is drying.
The Hurricanes had a game last night, they had 2 players out with injuries so they brought a rookie up from the minor leagues, it was his first NHL game. He scored a goal in the third period. I hope one of the other players who was on the ice when he scored got the puck for him as a souvenir.

Afternoon BNers
Not much sleep last night, but so much sneezing
Might be time for a Dr visit and a steriod shot.

Afternoon all!
Had a dusting of snow overnight, but the sun is back out melting most of it.
We're off to the grocery store - yay I put on jeans and tennis shoes!! It's the little things..

So let me get this right. You live in a place where it snows and you need shovels to get in and out of your house?big john wrote: ↑January 6, 2024 12:42 pmOh yeah, it's snowing pretty good now. And this is by choice?
Having grown up on the beaches of Sydney and now living in the Mediterranean climate of the Barossa Valley wine region, I simply can't get my head around why anyone would choose that?

Our daughter and son-in-law’s Christmas gift of dinner out at a local restaurant has been cancelled. A few inches of snow and now we’ve got sleet. 911 dispatch incident reports are pretty long.

Evening, peeps.
Had lunch in town and did some small gift returns/exchanges. Absolutely dead all around, incoming snowstorm has everyone staying home. Now we’re all settled in for football and a traditional corned beef dinner, Mr. Lime was feeling it and since he’s doing to cooking who am I to complain?
Y’all stay safe with whatever your weather.

It was snowing earlier today, nothing accumulated though. I had a nail appointment for the first time in over 3 weeks and I actually drove myself! Other than doctor appointments it's the first time I've been out of the house since December 15. And the first time I was by myself

I will take our Massachusetts snow over their heat, drought and bushfire potential any day.
Oh, and they agree with me too! Having lived here for 5+ years they said it was tough getting used to the Aussie climate again..

Most times people live where they were born. So ask the generations upon generations why people settled to live where they do. And often it's not financially feasible for people to move to other parts of the world/country. And it's NOT all year long, so there is that.

I see a movie with all of our issues. Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Sally Field can star. Of course the Rock can play me. Or Jerry Lewis if he was alive. Actually he can still play me.
