National Pizza Day Friday @ the MSC
Good morning BN. Fire up the ovens, the pies are going in. Our favorite is mushroom and pepperoni
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Back to work today. Not much else going on.
Bill, when I was a teenybopper and just starting to date Bryan the first thing I ever made for him was a pepperoni mushroom pizza!

Good morning.
I went to Old Chicago for lunch yesterday but I didn't have pizza. If I had known today was National Pizza Day I could have waited and celebrate.
correction: I went to Old Chicago Wednesday, not yesterday. I still didn't have pizza.

Good morning all!
We love pizza! But (for me) there will NEVER be mushrooms, pineapple, broccoli, spinach, green peppers and onion. Yes, I'm fussy. Pepperoni/sausage is about all we get. E likes jalapeno's on his, and I'll occasionally get black and/or green olives.
Busy day again at work. Dinner out for our usual Friday night date. Snow starting this afternoon, but not as bad as last weekend! The weekend will be a stop at the liquor store, grocery store pick up, then home for the rest of the weekend. Not really interested in the Super Bowl. I don't even know if it will broadcast on one of the streaming channels we use.
But Happy Friday!!!

Canadian bacon and mushrooms! But only fresh mushrooms, never canned. I like green peppers on mine (Mrs SPH doesn't), she likes olives on hers (I don't).
Many years ago we were in a small pizza place in Christchurch NZ and ordered a pizza that included green peppers (they call them Capsicum down there).
The waitress bought us a pie that had celery and asparagus on it and told us "we're out of Capsicum, so we put some other green veggies on it."

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

Aloha, peeps. Haven’t had truly good pizza in years, there just isn’t any up here. Pizza is always on our list when we visit NY/NJ. Bagels, too.

Re: National Pizza Day Friday @ the MSC
food shopping done, 2nd and last load of laundry in the dryer. stopped at office parking lot to take pics of mom's car to send to nephew-in-law who may want to buy it.
Mom called Kevin 2 times today saying she can't find Kelly's phone #. She called him the other night with the same issue. She is now (after a few weeks) asking about her car and why she can't drive. We were thankful that the car seemed to have left her memory but alas, guess it's back. She doesn't know where it is or what we plan to do with it. Just that it's at a safe place.

I better bundle up when I go downstairs to get my mail. It's 61 degrees but the feels like temperature is all the way down to 60.

We had pizza yesterday... OOPS! Oh, well. just a day too early!
There is only one place that has semi-decent pizza nearby. So much of the pizza in this area is Greek style, not my fave.
At least we do have good bagels as the place in town is owned by a couple from East Meadow!

There used to be an AWESOME pizza place near Blue Hill called Pie In the Sky and we loved it. We would go at least twice every trip until one trip we went and it was just gonelime rickie wrote: ↑February 9, 2024 2:34 pm Aloha, peeps. East Meadow, the home of the first Hooters on Long Island. By some strange coincidence, it closed about 3 weeks before I moved to South Carolina.Caribbean Soul wrote: ↑February 9, 2024 5:20 pm We had pizza yesterday... OOPS! Oh, well. just a day too early!
