National Margarita Day THURSDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. I don't drink them, but I enjoy painting them.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Linda, Bill, and Tammy!
I love a well made margarita! With Salt Salt Salt, of course.
Wonder if they'll serve them at PT today??
SSDD at work. 347 days to go.

Good morning. Margaritaville is doing a margarita toast at 5:00 today but I'm not going. The Hurricanes have a game tonight and I usually have a beer or 2 when I'm watching a hockey game on TV. I don't like to mix beer and liquor.

Re: National Margarita Day THURSDAY@ the MSC
I just got tickets to 2 concerts, both are bands I've never seen. George Thorogood & The Destroyers here at the Carolina Opry Theater in April and The Steve Miller Band at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in June. My next task is to make a hotel reservation in North Charleston so I don't have to drive home after the concert. I'm getting too old to drive 2 hours late at night.

We saw Thorogood on a 3 band bill that included John Fogerty & ZZ Top back in the summer of 2021, which was ZZ's bass player Dusty Hill's 2nd to last show before passing. Thought Thorogood & Fogerty were outstanding! He's an excellent entertainer IMO. But I don't think he's for everybody.LIPH wrote: ↑February 22, 2024 12:13 pm I just got tickets to 2 concerts, both are bands I've never seen. Been a while since seeing Steve Miller. Twice if I recall....maybe three times. You pretty much know what you're gonna get from Miller as well....boat load of hit songs.

When riding the "Margarita" train I'm a frozen margarita drinker. Currently I'm not on that train so no celebratory Tequila, triple sec & lime juice in my near future. But feel free in indulge BN'ers & make up for my lack of consumption!!
Enjoy a Thirsty Thursday for sure.

We had an engineer at work who recently retired. His name is Steve Miller. An nice enough bloke (for a RF Engineer that is).LIPH wrote: ↑February 22, 2024 12:13 pm I just got tickets to 2 concerts, both are bands I've never seen. One day we were working in one of the labs and I made a couple of jokes that were references to the Steve Miller Band and their songs.
He had never heard of them.

Every year I think the same thing...
It just seems odd that National Margarita Day is in the winter...
I drink them occasionally, either frozen or not, I enjoy them both... BUT (and I'm sorry if this offends the purists) NO SALT.

I've been to Bar Harbor and Gulf Shores. Hilton Head Island is about 175-200 miles south of where I live but I've never been there.Rabbitz wrote: ↑February 22, 2024 3:50 pm How many here have been to these places?

I surprised Bryan one year for his birthday and took him to see Ted Nugent open for ZZ Top.
