National Pretzel Day Friday @ the MSC

I love pretzels. Especially the hot/soft ones dipped in beer cheese sauce or mustard.

Supposed to rain later today, and ALL DAY tomorrow.

World Of Beer has a pretzel on the menu, it's huge and it's really good. It comes with stone ground mustard and you can get beer cheese sauce for $3 extra. I always get the beer cheese because the mustard is good but it's hot, too hot to dip the whole pretzel.

So, what did I do today? Got a bag of Rold Gold pretzels, and a couple of packets of mustard. I want the other big one, but this will do.

That pretzel does look good! But YIKES is it ever HUGE!
Now I want one... I guess the Snyder's in my cabinet with the hummus in my fridge will have to do.

I just had the big pretzel Monday. When you're a member of the World Of Beer rewards program, you get a free one for your birthday. I was in Las Vegas for my birthday and WOB doesn't have a location there so I had to wait until I came home. They're doing a National Pretzel Day promotion now, if you have a pretzel between now and April 28, you get a free one on your next visit. I didn't feel like making another 50 mile round trip to get a free pretzel so I passed on the promotion.

We're having Chinese takeout for dinner tonight. Bryan is on his way to pick it up now.
He went for a follow up with our PCP this morning, his cough is finally better since he stopped taking his blood pressure medication and was switched to a different one, but he's still wheezing and is short of breath. He had to go to the hospital and get fitted for a heart monitor and he got a referral for his old pulmonologist who years and years ago diagnosed him with sarcoidosis. We're hoping that this is not a relapse. (He's been in remission for a long time) When he was first diagnosed I looked it up and the typical patient is an African American woman in their 30's. This does not describe Bryan

I too have pulmonary sarcoidosis, and also am not a young African American woman. Interestingly, when we Google Mrs SPH's name, it says that she is a single African American woman as well. It must be her, it lists our address. I guess ya can't always believe what you read on the interweb.....
