Good morning BN. It's a good day to listen to RM and enjoy the tunes.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Bill, Debbie and everyone else :)

It's a beautiful day here in MB. I planned on 9:30 chair yoga but only woke up at 8:30. No need to rush around & miss my morning coffee for yoga.

We plan to hit the beach EARLY today to avoid the Labor Day Weekend crowd.

Enjoy your JB DAY !

Good morning.

I was watching one of the talking head shows on ESPN yesterday and I heard that Ohio State's quarterback is named Julian Sayin. I wonder how many lame sportswriters will try to work the phrase "just Sayin" into every article they write about him.

Good early afternoon gang!
Happy JB Weekend!
Been a busy morning but just now catching a break in the action here at work, so fired up Radio Margaritaville, popped in here for a quick flyby before getting back at it because It's My Job. Would like to bug out early but only Time Will Tell if that happens.

I'm celebrating the day at the Landshark bar & Grill at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle. Instead of the &20+ mixed drinks they had last year you can get a beer in the souvenir cup. Unfortunately the choices are Blandshark, Bud Light and Miller Lite. I went with Blandshark since it's Jimmy Buffett Day.

Not sure there’s anything much better today than sun sand and ocean while listening to MV radio ❤️

Probably every one of them.

Afternoon all. Got up around 6:00ish, puttered a little around the house, then went to the grocery store. Unloaded groceries, made E some breakfast, and then I had some scrambled eggs.

M'ville was on the radio, and it was Mac and Kenny chatting. Love that show.

Nothing tropical today, but we'll be at Dukes for dinner - just on Friday, not Sunday. :D

Evening, peeps. 8)

Nothing tropical in Vacationland either, we’ve jumped right into autumn temps. [smilie=shake.gif] Keet is here for the weekend with friends. They’ll handle some heavy chores for us and in return we’ll feed and water them (beer).

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. :wench:

For quite some time now, I’ve had a tickle in my throat and a raspiness in my voice. It’s sort of a “Lisinopril cough” (some of you know what I mean), even though I’m not on Lisinopril.
I had an appointment with an otolaryngologist (ENT) today and he performed a “flexible fiberoptic nasopharyngolaryngoscopy” on me. In English, he stuck a camera up my nose and down my throat. Pretty amazing.... I watched on the monitor as it went up my nose and turned the corner and went down my throat…. He had me say “ah” and “ai” and whistle and I could see my vocal cords move in different directions. His diagnosis was that I have a “right medial arytenoid mucosal mucocele”, or again in English, a benign lesion near my vocal cords.
He said it’s not doing any harm; I could have it surgically removed but I might still have the tickle and raspiness even after that.
Now that I know what’s going on and that it's nothing serious, I think I’ll forego surgery for now (and probably forever).

People who ask me what I’m doing tomorrow probably assume that I even know what day of the week it is.

Glad it wasn't anything more serious, Mr. SPH. Annoying, yes.
