I'm a phan of a lot of his cover stuff. My maiden name is Cline. Yes, just like Patsy. And...somewhere there's a connection but...
He did "She's got you", but He's got you" at Nashville last year and I LOVED IT. I have his recording on Fruitcakes but in concert is was great.
"Mommy, when is Jimmy Buffett coming to OUR house? We go see him ALL THE TIME??" (Actual quote from my 5 y/o keet)

I too was disappointed he didn't play Southern Cross last year at GW. That's probably my favorite song that he usually plays.

If I had to name a few of Bubba's own though, I'd probably say...

Although my dream would be to see him plastered at Margaritaville Key West or New Orleans performing "God's Own Drunk". That would be classic!

two songs:
1. Boat Drinks
2. No Woman No Cry
I have heard it on a concert replay on Radio Margaritaville and it was awesome.

I saw him do "No Woman No Cry" in West Palm Beach a few years back. It was great! Totally unexpected, too.

If you like that tune, I highly recommend searching out the album it originally appeared on: Jessie's Jig & Other Favorites (which also includes the original version of Door Number Three).

Definitely Pascagoula run, Jolly mon, Dreamsicle, Chanson Pours Les Petits Enfants, Holiday, King of Somewhere Hot, Jamaica Farewell. And some others. Some of the A-rank songs(the ones on the Songs You know... CD). And mostly B-rank songs, like what Ive listed above.

And racoons brought wine and the mice they brought cheese
Beautiful birds floated by on the breeze
From out of the oceans the dolphins began
Humming a tune that soon covered the land

I crossed Manana off my list after Alpine last year. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same with Migration this summer.

If he never played Brown Eyed Girl, Southern Cross and Cheeseburger in Paradise again I wouldn't miss them. I'd like to hear him do Lyle Lovett's If I Had A Boat, he did it a few years ago at Jones Beach but I haven't heard it since then.

Something So Feminine About a Mandolin

It's stuck in my head like no other song has in a long time. It mellows me out and just makes me happy. 8)

Along that same album's lines, I would *love* to hear My Head Hurts, My Feet Stink and I Don't Love Jesus live. I think it would be an absolute *hoot* to see him perform.
