This is a bit easier because it is the "Happiest Buffett Songs" list - not just the favorite songs list. I think all of us can rattle off at least 50 or so. That's why Jimmy is our hero. Anytime, anywhere, his music takes us to Margaritaville, which is a happy place for all of us. I can narrow it down to 18 - for now. Looks like all of mine have already been mentioned, but here goes. Rock on, parrotheads! I'm headed for the Cuervo bottle.

Folks,

Margaritaville is the one song I hope to never hear again! Jimmy Buffett has made hundreds of great songs and I know I would be angry as hell (if I were him) to think that that piece o'top 40 crap would be my legacy.

But, my personal favorite happy songs are, The Wino and I know", and, since I live in the Industrial Accident Mecca, Michigan, where one seldom sees the sun due to air pollution, "Ragtop Day".

I don't know, I like "Come Monday." That always puts me in a good mood. I'd also say "Lip Service." Maybe I'm mixing 'happy' and 'funny,' but that song is always 'good for a laugh.'
