the term Avery used was "sloppy seconds" to describe his ex.....
Stars owner said if the league didn't suspend Avery, the team would have. His team mates don't like him, he isn't doing much in Dallas, and now this....could they use this as a way to dump him?
Would love to see his sarcastic dumb a$$ playing in Siberia

Go Caps!
And out with an undisclosed upper body injury.

Yes, that's unfortunate. Hopefully that won't be for too long.
I for one would like to thank Semin for lighting a fire under Sidney Crosby by saying Sid was nothing special. Sid has 6 goals and 3 assists in his last three games and is second in the league in scoring only behind teammate Evgeni Malkin.
Go Pens!!!

Uh, your welcome?
I thought those comments were made in the beginning of November? It must have been a slow burning fire...
I wish Semin didn't get injuried, he was on fire.

He's been coming on since the comments, but exploded last week...finally.

Hmm...interesting point. At what point should the league step in and do something? I mean, as we briefly discussed earlier, why didn't the league suspend Semin for saying what he did about Crosby? At what point is the line crossed?
Athletes will be athletes and they will say dumb things - this seems to happen every couple of weeks in the NFL with some guy blabbering about how the team they are playing next week isn't good, etc, etc. You don't see Goodell suspending those guys. It should be the player's team who has to deal with him.
With all that said, I think Avery is an idiot and Elisha Cuthbert is hot.

Not good. I wonder if his contract has any clause about non-hockey related injuries similar to Plaxico's contract.

Well, he'd probably need the plow attachment. They can be hard to find from what I hear.

So, what was the accident? I'm looking around on the web and I can't find any details. Was the snow blower off? Did we he stick his hand in it? WTF happened?
