Re: Who's Going to Camden 8/28/12???
Since you are coming so late, consider taking the Ferry, you can park at Penns Landing in Philly and take the Ferry over, it's reasonable, and will let you off right there. At the end of the show, you go right there and take the Ferry back, it's very easy. If you want to drive to Camden, which is what we do every year, you will be directed to park in whatever lot you can get into. The front lots 1,2,and 3 open at 3:00 pm so you might be lucky and get over there, those lots are run by the Susquehanna Bank Center and you will have a good time. Plus the meet and greet for the Coral Reefers is at 5:00 pm usually in lot 1 or 2, so if you do some walking around you may luck out and stumble upon that as well. Our bus and gang will most likely be in lot 11, by the Campbell Field, and that's the last lot, which usually opens first. Look for the BN flag, they will be flying where our group is and come by and say hello. So if you drive, that is where our gang will most likely be, this is the "no 10x10 lots, although we are all hopeful that this won't be an issue again, but probably will be... Have a great time and Fins up! The police just want to get you into the lot as quick as possible once they open the lots.
PM me with any other questions,
Jeanie
Thank you Jeanie, you gave me the info I was looking for. I have used the Ferry before and found it to be a hassle, almost as big of a hassle as driving into Camden
Hope to see you all tomorrow and thanks for the advice!
Re: Who's Going to Camden 8/28/12???
Looking to see if anyone has any info on which lots allow what tailgating, I know certain lots do allow it, some don't, some don't allow cooking, etc. I was fortunate enough to get a VIP parking pass (for free), I've been told it will work in pretty much any lot, but it would be ideal if it worked in the L1 lot that is designated on the parking pass. Anyone know?
Thanks, see you at the show.

Happy Buffett Eve to everyone. Down the shore right now making final plans for our trek up the AC expressway to Beautiful downtown Camden tomorrow. Weather looks good, not too hot, chance of t-storms (30%). Beer is being chilled, booze is plentiful, food is ready, grass skirt is hanging, group is ready, Buffett music playing...... I think we're ready.

Re: Who's Going to Camden 8/28/12???
Safe travels and have a great time all. We will be MIA from Camden this year but we'll be thinking about you. I'll be in an office building near the Wegmans off the Surekill Expressway Valley Forge interchange on the Turnpike...be sure to wave to me. Enjoy the bus...sounded like a great deal. At least life won't s*** too much if you have to double park under the Ben for nearly 3 hours. Our neighbors are bringing 17 to the show so I told them to look for the BN Flag and introduce themselves. Big John...I especially sent them your way....you'll see why if they show up
Have a great time and we'll catch up at another show or event.

Re: Who's Going to Camden 8/28/12???
Holy crap! Camden got it right this time! Pulled into town around 11:30 and
there was no traffic jam. Drove up to the parking lot, paid the $25 and just
parked anywhere we wanted to. Had the tiki bar set up, pop-up canopy set,
and the first pitcher of cranberry margarita made in a few minutes. Got A LOT
of visitors to the bar. Weather was perfect. Even Jimmy said so during the show.
Cops did come by later and told everyone to take down tents and canopies.
We did. They left. A half hour later we set back up again. No hassle. I think they
fined only those who argued with them. We had good seats and it was a great
show. Loved the acoustic set. From back in section 202 we could see Parrotheadred's
red head up in the front row in the pit. Ran into some BN'ers and some folks who
look for our bar every year. All in all a great experiance. I thought this might be
my last trip to Camden, what with the way they cracked down last year. But this
was really handled well this year and I might have to reconsider.
