I just finished the book last night -- cried and felt very empowered to live with a little more focus on "delight" -- things that delight me and others. That is all that really matters.
Watching the video of the lecture now... what a great man and mentor!

Excellent. Loved the book ... was blown slap out of the water by the video.
Am trying to read "William and Rosalie: A Holocaust Testimony".
Mr. and Mrs. Schiff are coming to town on the 10th ... it's so hard to read the book. The horror is unimaginable ... I cannot wrap my brain around it ... even though I took a lot of history classes ... We need to remember so it never happens again.

Haven't felt like reading anything too "deep", so I've been going through some mysteries: Kathy Reichs, Janet Evanovich, and Cynthia Baxter's "Reigning Cats and Dogs" series, to name a few.

My favorite ... when he was alive ... the new stuff is awful. Someone's ghostwriting and they can't hold a candle. Ludlum died in 2001 and some of the titles before he died are weak, too.
Start with the Bourne triology ... they're all good ... then try the others ...
And, if you like Bourne ... try Ken Follett's TRIPLE ... one of my favorites of the thriller genre.

the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .
I LOVE the Reacher series, they remind me of the Travis McGee novels.
Speaking of that, I just got through reading John D. MacDonald's "The Empty Copper Sea" .

Having a hard time getting into this, but thought I'd give it a chance. Guterson also wrote "Snow Falling on Cedars", which I never read (nor saw), but which received acclaimed reviews. Anyone else read his work?
