I usually have two cups of coffee in the morning before I head to work. I used to have a Diet Coke in the afternoon but it started interferring with my sleep... So now I pretty much drink water all day. Usually have a couple glasses of wine a week too!
Dont try to explain it, just bow your head

Guilty as charged.LIPH wrote:I can't believe the amount of soda people drink, I never touch the stuff (unless there's rum in it). My parents never kept soda in the house when I was a kid - it was either milk, juice or water - so I just never drank it.
As soon as it warms up, no more coffee - strictly diet Mt. Dew, starting first thing.
My folks didn't keep soda around, but drank coffee like crazy. I justify the diet Dew by believing it's no worse than the coffee habit.
Alcohol... definitely not daily, usually not even weekly. Got two kids and no time...

Add me to the soda-junkies list. Used to be much worse (3-5 20oz bottles of pepsi a day). Now I only have 1, sometimes 2 and I don't buy the stuff at home any more. The way my kids eat, if I keep any junk in the house, they'd be big 'ol fatties (like mom and dadkrusin1 wrote:Guilty as charged.LIPH wrote:I can't believe the amount of soda people drink, I never touch the stuff (unless there's rum in it). Dew the rest of the day (way too many.)

Ahhh... but how much TruBlood do you drink?~Hippolyte~ wrote:I, like Larry (YES!), drink caffeine on a week-day basis. And it's usually in the form of a Rockstar. Sometimes it's a coffee Rockstar, so does that count twice??
When it comes to alcohol, I drink less than Larry. I've tried not to get in the habit of drinking alone. And I also don't drink when I have my kids over. It's not like I tell them I don't drink, then grab the Maraschino cherry juice and the Vanilla from the cupboard when they're not looking.
They see the beer and alcohol in the fridge....and they complain every time I make Jell-O....cause they know it's not for them.
This fact makes me a cheap date....anybody looking for one of those?

I usually only drink it on days I work, and sometime not even then. And I even go a day or two (or more) without drinking the other stuff.alphabits wrote:You hardly ever drink caffeine?popcornjack wrote:Y'all wouldn't believe my answer if I told you, what with stories of my behavior plus the type of place I work, but the answer ain't what you think.

So you and I are living proof that alcohol isn't necessary to act stupid.popcornjack wrote:I usually only drink it on days I work, and sometime not even then. Necessary? No. But it's been known to help.alphabits wrote:So you and I are living proof that alcohol isn't necessary to act stupid.popcornjack wrote:I usually only drink it on days I work, and sometime not even then. I tried decaf several years ago..... stuff just tore up my stomach. Swore I was getting an ulcer, but when I switched back to regular coffee, it all went away. Weird, huh?Dezdmona wrote:I have a couple of cups of DECAF Coffee every morning.
Had to switch about a year ago cuz my Doc told me to.
I have a few drinks a week...occasionally I overdo it, but I try to keep that to a minimum.
