Just make sure you pack for all kinds of weather...rain included. And it is definitely cool at night.

Thanks! I'm definitely packing a little bit of everything. You never know what could happen this time of year. I'm hoping for some decent weather. But I'll be happy as long as Jimmy's there. This past year at the Philly show it was pretty much downpouring all day. That didn't stop me though. I was walking around in my bathing suit in the rain. Hopefully the rain will steer clear of Irvine. I can handle warm weather and rain and cooler weather without rain but i don't know if i can take cold and rainy. Oh well. I'll make the most of whatever's thrown at us!

I may be way off base on this one, but is this Jon V???? The one I met on the bus from the Vegas airport to the Flamingo a few years ago???? The one who got a personal one on one lunch with Jimmy and they took pictures for you and such??????

I can guarantee you it won't be warm and rainy...that's a given. I'm rounding up all the ponchos I bought for Tampa last year. Of course they didn't do me much good when I left them in the car instead of taking them into the venue!

It doesn't look like rain but it's not going to be like summer :-? It looks like it's going to be cool-low 70's during the day. It'll cool off to the high 50's to low 60's at night. 8)

sometimes I just can't help myself... :pirate:

Do you at least have a direct flight?
It's hard to get a direct flight from Hartford to LAX. I have the next best thing. One stop and I don't even have to get off the plane, but I will. And I will find a bar.
I'm leaving work 2ish hours early. My flight is at 5. Stop over in Baltimore, then off to LAX. I am gonna keep an eye on an earlier flight into Orange County and if the prices go down (i won't hold my breath), i'll see if i can convince someone to come pick me up and bring me to the bar, and then convince my friend to pick my drunk ass up from the bar. Hahahah....

I'm getting sooo excited!!!!

Does anyone else have a tendency to overpack when traveling to see Buffett? I feel like I want to pack everything in my closet....
Ummmm.....You haven't seen ERIC pack yet, and he is a guy!!! He makes me pack one bag so he can have 3 for checked baggage    (oh yah, and "blue" the Buffettnews Cooler - be prepared to sign the cooler if you haven't already)

I started to pack last night because I'm going to be busy all week coming up with school and work and the boston marathon. So this is my last chance really. But man, I feel like I'm packing everything. I like having options. I'll definitely be checking 3 bags. (Thank you Southwest!) And then remembering all the leis depending on what bathing suit I decide to wear. And I have to make sure I have extra room for all the beads I intend on bringing back!
