Nope, nothing at the Dollar Tree by me except a bunch of copies of Al and Tipper Gore's book.

You know i sent Beachblonde the money for a Mac cd about 4 months ago and have not heard from nor seen her post since. I know it was just 5 bucks with shipping, but still, i don't like to get ripped off. Anyone know why i never got my cd? Anyone heard anything from her?

k, thanks for letting me know. I have already bought the cd from somewhere else so i don't care i was just wondering why i never got it.

I found another Mac "Word of Mouth" cd at a Dollar Tree in Matthews, NC this past Saturday, 12/18/04. It was the only one in the rack on that day...of course I bought it!

So I was listening to my freed Mac's today and realized something:
These CD's are the best 3 bucks I have ever spent!

Just wondering if anyone wants to sell their extra Mac CDs??
I just realized that Kenny Chesney sings Back Where I Come From...isn't that Mac's song? It's way back on Simple Life CD.

You guys are awesome. I feel like I need to buy all of Mac's cds. I listen to him all the time on RM and love his lyrics...well, duh!
One of the best shows I've ever been to was in Austin, Texas at the Paramount Theater...I had a front row seat for Mac and Fingers. Wow. They opened for Leo Kottke. What a great night. (The best show I've ever been to was at the same place..JJW and Jimmy!)
I only have two of his cds and I'm gonna order the ones I can from his web site. Now, I really would like Simple Life. Any help out there with that one?
There are NO MACs to FREE in any dollar stores here, but I have sure leanrned there are lots of way to shop besides Sam's and Wal-Mart. Whew!!!

KC also mentioned this on his CMT concert special, it just aired again the other day phor Kenny Chesney Weekend... I never knew that until then, I figure it's the reason why I like the song so much

I know this probably doesn't make any difference to MAC, but could he go gold on the sale of these older cds? Just a thought??

Ok, it's been awhile since this thread has had any activity, but I just had to share.
(btw--thanks Penny for finding the thread)
I was in Dollar Tree today and suddenly, I heard,
Hipolyte's Habitat coming through the speakers.
It was nice hearing Mac singing and yes, I was singing along
Not quite the same as freeing Mac, but nice to know he is still visiting Dollar Tree
