I see my DirecTV menu has several "new audio service coming soon"
listings. Any idea if RM will be one of those? (PLEASE!?!!)
Several other XM listings have been changed, replaced and moved.
see my post in the other thread...
What/where is the thread??? While at lunch I checked my DTV XM stations & no RM anywhere!

I actually found this out today while changing the channels in my car....
But I still hadn't committed to paying for the XM after my free trial expires at the end of the month...
Looks like I have another item to add to my growing list of things to do

Well, you are now ready for next year, and in the meantime, you can listen to the concert replays that they do every week.

Not sure if I'll stay onboard.....my scrip ends this month with XM....currently onboard for the bargain price of $6+ per month.....but to renew they ask for between $13-$15 depending upon how long you sign up for. When you start adding up the price of cable.....price of the net.....take on Sat radio......
$$$$ keeps adding up. I'll prolly cancel, then see if they come back with any "We Want You Back" offers.
As for concert replays, I've got PLENTY of Buffett Live either on CD or downloaded from I-Tunes.

I thought they were charging something like 7 dollars a month if you pay for 3 months?
Edit... never mind, that's the "trial period" 3 months.... After that it's approximately monthly payment of 12.95

I think it is safe for us to assume that you are very happy about getting RadioMarg.
As a Sirius subscriber I am very happy with the merger. I can now listen to Tom Petty's weekly radio show, and I can cancel my XmRadio online account.

Please help save XM Radio's X-Country channel!
Please help save XM Radio's X-Country channel!
As you may already know, the XM Radio / Sirius Satellite Radio merger has taken place. In the blending of the two corporations and their programming, XM's X-Country channel has fallen by the wayside. X-Country's program director is our good friend Jessie Scott, who has been a strong Paul Thorn supporter from the beginning and a champion of his music ever since her days at Lightning 100 in Nashville. Jessie's mission in life is to bring the coolest of Americana and Alt-Country music to the masses, and radio needs her!
So if you are an XM or Sirius subscriber, please take just a minute to sign an online petition requesting that they reconsider the decision to drop X-Country. You don't have to disclose any information other than your name, and you will be helping to preserve one of the few alternative outlets for non-mainstream musicians. You can sign it here...

I'm loving having the Sirius channels on XM. Not just RM, but Prime Country too, and the extra comedy channels.

I love having the XM channels on Sirius. I think this merge has been a good thing, and I like how they have combined some channels in to one. Unfortunately, some channels on both sides had to fall by the way side, but all in all, I'm loving this.

What is good for some is not good for others, but in my case as a Sirius subscriber, I love Hockey. We did not have that on Sirius, and now we do. I also like Opera's channel that we did not have on Sirius before. We also did not have the Bob Edwards show which Sirius subscribers now have. With the merger, some Sirius channels needed to be overhauled, and it happened. The deep cuts classic rock station on Sirius formerly known as The Vault received a name change and the XM DJS as well as XM programming such as Bob Dylan's Theme time Radio Hour and Tom Petty's Buried Treasure.
