The 2019 tour is a continuation of the 2018 Son of A Son of A Sailor Tour as such Jimmy is not repeating many of the venues from 2018 this includes Bristow which saw a 2018 Son of A Son of A Sailor Tour show on August 4, 2018.

I can't believe Jimmy would not have a show in the MD, DC, VA area. This area still ranks at or near the top of areas he has played, heck he hasn't played Merriweather Post forever and it's still near the top number of shows played. He even mentioned it last year when here.

He is playing a show in Virginia Beach on August 3 at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater. As I stated above Jimmy as apparently decided to make this years tour a continuation of the 2018 Son of A Son of Sailor Tour which already a Bristow show back on August 4, 2018

It appears the continuation deal may be partially correct. Of the dates announced so far, only 3 (Jones Beach, Cincinnati and Las Vegas) were stops on the SOASOAS 2018 tour. You could include the Boston area in that as well since he played Fenway last year and is back at Xfinity Center this year. It would be a shame if he skips the DMV but it has happened as recently as 2016.

Same for Philly. I know he's playing in north jersey, but I'm still shocked that there isn't a Philly or Hershey date this year too.
