On another thread I referenced a commercial I can't stand.... how about a thread about favorite commercials?
I'll start with this one:
And these Allstate commercials are pretty creative:

Re: Favorite Commercials
It's old — from 1985, back when smoking tobacco was still considered 'acceptable' and marijuana was a no-no (my, how times have changed!) — and I don't even think it ran in the USA, but I saw it on one of those "World's Best Commercial" compilation shows and took an immediate liking to it....

The only thing I don't like about this ad is the truck they use. That is a tanker truck and is used for liquids.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑March 20, 2019 9:20 pm On another thread I referenced a commercial I can't stand.... how about a thread about favorite commercials?
I'll start with this one:
Helium is a gas and needs a special truck.
Fyi...my Daddy worked at a helium plant

Re: Favorite Commercials
Oh good! I thought I was the only one who hated those stupid commercials! Maybe the Limu Emu could eat the Geiko Gecko and then get trapped in Cheryl's she-shed when it burns to the ground?
I gotta admit though that I like this one:

I like the Halloween one with the young kids running around making stupid decisions.

Re: Favorite Commercials
I'll have to put a vote in for The man who walked around the world, a commercial for Johnnie Walker. It may be a bit longer than most commercials, but that's part of the beauty of it.
I'm also genuinely impressed by Robert Carlyle's work here - since it's a single shot, he had to do the entire 6 minute piece without any mistakes.

It is indeed an impressive piece of work! As smooth as a sip of JW Blue...bestazy wrote: ↑February 20, 2022 2:36 pm I'll have to put a vote in for The man who walked around the world, a commercial for Johnnie Walker. It may be a bit longer than most commercials, but that's part of the beauty of it.
