Wife & Weight

My wife has been struggling a bit with her weight. I would never say anything negative to her about that. I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings and I also like certain of my body parts right where they are.
But the other day we were out and she noticed a lady who obviously had a nice grocery budget and made good use of it. My wife asked me if I looked like her. Of course I wasn't going to refer to weight in any way. So I said, "No. Your hair isn't that long."
That didn't work either.
Oh well. Sleeping alone ain't too bad.
This is a true story, BTW.
