Post by SMLCHNG »

Good morning!! :) Killed some spam this morning, and it's raining here. Rain is good.. I don't have to scrape it off my windows or shovel it. ;)

Have a good day!!!

Good morning.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and the office called me this morning to confirm the appointment. Unfortunately, I turn my phone off when I go to bed and I had forgotten to turn it back on this morning. I called the office back to tell them I'd be there and the receptionist said "thanks for calling me back, that's so awesome." Really, returning your call inspires awe?

I haven't been in the Cleveland airport in a long time but there used to be a place there that would give you an extra shot in your drink for $1.

Beer and chorizo rolls for lunch at Old Chicago. I think I need 1 more item to get my Cinco de Mayo t-shirt. Maybe I'll have churros for dessert, then go to the park to walk off the calories.

Hi there!
I boat a LOT. Last year I trailered to water around 50 trips and things can still go wrong. My new boat is a jet for fishing the river and I climb aboard after backing the trailer in far enough to have the motor pull the boat free, then I go to shore. Today, I was on a d*m with a dock beside the ramp, so I floated the boat off with a long rope tied to the boat to the trailer winch. I backed the boat, pulled the trailer out and found I didn't attach the rope to the trailer!!!!!! The boat was floating 30yards out. I stripped to my shorts and swam out in 50 degree water. I have not tried swimming in decades. After 50 degree water , I can wait a few more decades before swimming again. :D
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Ha! No. By the time I tied the boat at the dock and walked a few yards to the car, I was dripped almost dry(except my shorts). I took them off and threw them in the car. This ramp is deep in the woods, so no public obcentity.

Oooh . I can laugh because I've done that with my ski before. Difference being, I had my bathing suit on because it's warm when I take it out.
