It's here -- the last day of August. Anyone else wondering why it went so fast

It really did fly by, didn't it? We're feeling very much like fall already in Vacationland. But it's sunny and breezy, perfect weather for day two of the local food festival.

Not only August, but where did the summer go??

Headed to a local craft fair that's on a boardwalk later. Weather is still beautiful here so should be a great day to be at the water.

I have laundry started, we are taking the dogs to the vet this morning, then coming back for our noon kick-off. Go Bucks! I need to make potato salad later today for our family get together that is happening tomorrow. Have a great Saturday!

Fly by? Nah, not for me. It draggggged, while I was home and healing. Now, the last 3 weeks back at work? That went fast!

Not a lot planned to do today. It's too freaking hot this weekend to do much. 90's and close to 100 all three days. Ack.

A trip to the store for a few grocery items, and that's about it.

Good morning. According to the weather app I have on my phone from one of the local TV stations, Hurricane Dorian has shifted slightly north and might be headed this way. They're saying if there's any impact from the storm it won't be until Thursday and it should be down to Category 2 by then.

Hi there! I took an old friend fishing and ran into a couple from my town who moved to the river. I was both happy and envious for them. They are in a beautiful spot with 2 white swns that live in their pool.

Picked up a few things as presents for friends at the craft show then went to a last min (nobody's doing anything else so...) party/cookout & had a great time!
