Good morning Debbie and BN. I'm doing the children's message at our little church today on giving back and sharing talents. I will show my drawing skills instead of my incredible dancing skills.

Happy Sunday, pholks. Going to watch our SIL deliver the sermon at their church in Rochester, NY. (via the internet) then heading to my in laws later. The potato salad I'm making is almost done.
Safe thoughts for everyone in the path of Dorian.

Good morning. Had a great time at the Renaissance Faire yesterday. Some of the costumes worn by
the guests were awesome. If you ever go, check out the stage show by the PG-13 rated poet. It is NASTY!

Morning BNers
All ready to go to the track....and it starts raining.

So we are sitting in our room all dressed and no where to go.

Hello, all. Who's tending the bar? I need you to pour me something tall and strong ... and start me a tab.
It's a new week and a new month, and I for one am glad to see August in the rear-view mirror. Of my new (to me) car. Because on the way home from work Wednesday, the engine in my old one blew up. The thing was completely DOA — dead on its axles. So Thursday was spent checking the cheap car places — because there have been some other setbacks this past summer that have me so broke I can barely pay attention. Ended up finding a serviceable Toyota Corolla that's almost old enough to legally drink, vote, and smoke, somehow got someone to give me a loan for a thousand bucks to pay for it, and got all the paperwork out of the way Friday after work.
About the only good thing is that it didn't cost me anything to get the other car towed in. Just got my stuff out of it, signed the title over to the wrecker/junkman who I called to fetch it, and at least that problem is out of my life for now.
So, bartender, I'm ready for another one just like the other one. And keep 'em coming.

The poet I saw at the fair yesterday was Sir Arthur Greenleaf Holmes. He can be found on youtube.
That's all I'm going to say.

Excellent. The relaxant and 1600 mg of ibuprofen a day is working. I go to PT Wednesday and waiting for MRI. I can actually sit now.

I’m finding the flexerill and same dose of naproxen as you isn’t working as well this weekend. I’m very disappointed. I’m trying my best to stave off the X-ray guided injection in my neck/spine as long as possible. (I’ve been dealing with it since September)

Yea that didn’t work for me either. This relaxant is something else. I forgot the name. It’s a long one.
