Hi Bill & Debbie!

We just got hit with a hard downpour and its very dark and odd looking outside.

Today will probably be an indoor project day.

Good morning.

The governor issued an evacuation order yesterday effective at noon today for all coastal counties. The county I live in has 3 evacuation zones - A, B and C. So far the evacuation order only covers zone A. I live in zone C so I'm staying. Last year when I evacuated it took 3 1/2 hours to get to I-95, that's usually about an hour and 15 minute trip and that was the week after Labor Day. I can't imagine how bad the traffic is going to be on Labor Day. :o

It was awful when we were there so I can't imagine an emergency situation.
Just have beer and ice cream and hunker down.

Stay safe, those of you in Dorian's sphere of influence.

One nice thing about living in Wisconsin ... we've never had a hurricane this far north.
Tornadoes, blizzards, flooding on the Mississippi, and the occasional earthquake — well, that's another story.

Good morning, all. :) Cooking and laundry on tap today. Too hot to enjoy going anywhere.

Larry - just keep us posted as you can. :-?

Bill, I'll check with phjim, but I'm guessing it's just a recent hiccup in the board software.

Is this something new, or was this something that happened a while ago and I just haven't been paying attention?

Afternoon BN.

Finished a few chores around the house this am but then had nothing to do so I came to the pool. Nice & warm with only a lil humidity.

Larry stay safe & follow the evacuation warnings. I know it was a p.i.t.a. last year during your evac but...
Good thoughts to anyone else out there in Dorian's path!

I did laundry earlier and I was just listening to the radio while I folded everything and put it away. The DJ said he had a couple of messages from people who were supposed to have jury duty this week and they wanted to know what they should do. When you have questions about jury duty isn't the afternoon DJ at a country music station your first choice for information?

Well.. it's still wait and see.. looks like the Micheals path but stronger.. spent the day getting the outside ready as it can get then went for a final swim. we're in zone B which is an evac zone. US1 is the safe zone and is 3 blocks away..so we're staying.. 8)

Evening, peeps. Very lazy day here. Spent a couple hours wandering around town, walking off the weekend food festival calories. Now the weather has turned chilly and cloudy so we're just vegging.

Stay safe HOG, Roy, Linda, and any others in Dorian's path. ~~/)~~/)~~/)~~

Races are over. No one that we were rooting for won. :( But that is racing. Great qualifying and spending time with friends.
Now, to head back to Texas tomorrow.

Hi there! I had issues with my printer, so took off for New York state for dinner, beer and tool shopping.
I hate electrical wiring, but replaced an extension cord end. It had screws one size bigger than eye glass screws. I treated myself with a beer called 8 Days a Week.

8 Days a Week from Southern Tier Brewing? I've had that, I thought it was pretty good.

Yep! The brewery is 50 minutes away. Kevin enjoys their beer, so I always know what to bring when travelling to Ringville.
