New to Tampa from PA, where do you tailgate for Tampa show?

I've seen Buffett in Tampa several times but usually outdoors at the amphitheater. I saw him at this arena once, probably about 15 or 16 years ago. If I remember correctly, we pre-gamed at a bar within walking distance of the arena. There wasn't much of a traditional tailgate.

I was hoping it was at the amphitheater as well. Do you think the Tampa PHC will organize a party at the local bar??

Yep, we were there, too. We partied at Newk's, which was lots of fun, but it's not there anymore.

I have not been to this venue.

In the past when the show was at the Fairgrounds/Amphitheater, the Tampa Bay PHC would have a party at a bar near the venue the night before the show. They would also have a booth/area where their club members would tailgate in the parking lot the day of show.
Their club prez normally reaches out to other club's in the surrounding area (Sarasota, Ocala etc.) with info about that. I'm a long time member of the Ocala club, if I hear anything I will post it here. Phins up!

I’m sure the Clubs will be organizing some type of event for the show. Definitely won’t be the party we have at the Fairgrounds but there are a few bars in the area around the Arena. Who knows, maybe they will organize right around the arena where the radio stations set up. Still on the fence for us. Could be downright chilly too since it’s a December show!

Yep, the dates were all removed from M'ville website while we were down in KW, then they posted them back again on 11/5. Tickets are still on sale via Ticketmaster for all three shows. I'm thinking & hoping that maybe legally because of contracts etc., he could not postpone/reschedule.
