Happy Sunday. Bryan is going to the grocery while I stay here and do the kids laundry. You know since I did mine yesterday and could have done her little bit with ours, but nah.

Good morning. I usually turn my cell phone off when I go to bed at night but because of the bad weather headed this way I left it on last night. It buzzed and woke me up about 1:30am with a weather alert, there was a tornado warning. We didn't have a tornado, at least not where I live.

I’m a disappointed Yankee fan, but being a big boy about it. Haters are going to hate and there’s nothing I can do about it. I AM, however, happy for José Altuve. With apologies to Mike Trout, Altuve is arguably the best player in the game today. He’s not only a great player, but a great person too. Humble and dignified. I always hate it when he comes to bat against my Yankees, but his kind are what the game needs today. Congratulations to him and the Astros. I wish him the best.

I have no rooting interest in the World Series but I've been to Houston and Washington, D.C. (and Montreal, where the Nationals used to play).

When you were a kid, did you have to wear those funky, one size fits poor, rubber galoshes?

Hey folks!

Had a very good sleep last night. 6 yr old grandson went to bed at 8:30 and slept until 7:30 this morning!

9:00 church service. Kevin and I were scheduled to hand out bulletins so Austin was helping us until his classroom teachers arrived. For security purposes each child wears a name tag with a number. Austin handed a Bulletin to a guy who said “hello Austin, thank you”. Austin turned to me and said “Nonny that man recognized me”.

I don't know much about him, Garry. But E and I watched the end of the game last night, and I was SO impressed with his performance and attitude. Some folks in other sports could learned a LOT from him. :)

Soooo, it was a really long weekend for us. But mostly all of it was good. :D

After Mom's visit on Saturday (she wasn't in the best of 'moods' cause she was SO upset that she couldn't remember what my sister told her to do/look for when she got up. We did a couple of puzzles, but she just wasn't into those much, either. She just kept repeating that she was stupid for screwing up, and wished she could remember what it was. We kept reinforcing that we all forget things, and she's NOT stupid. Then we went to a Fall Market at our favorite brewery and bought some food and craft goodies, then to the hotel, dinner, then DU hockey game (they won!). Stayed up much too late (didn't get back from hockey till 10:00pm), but got up at close to 8:00. Showered, checked out, stopped for breakfast, stopped at home to unpack, and get laundry going again. Ron made Monkey Bread, then to a friends for a small party. Stayed for just over 90 minutes, got some dinner out (a lot of finger foods at the party, and we were hungry since we hadn't eaten since about 10:00). Got home, did another load of laundry, and got clothes ready for tomorrow for work. Almost ready for bed now! LOL!!

See you all in the morning! :D
