I see that tour dates are starting to be announced for 2020. Any word on a Detroit date? Hopefully it's not another Tuesday.

Rare that Detroit gets listed on a first wave of announcements. Not overly optimistic this year but have patience.

He did say “See you next year” or “Be back next year”, during last year’s show.
I agree we need a Saturday this year.

I'm sure he says that at all his shows. I wouldn't necessarily put a whole lot of weight in that statement.
A Saturday show would be great, but I'd take a Thursday or Friday too.

He didn’t say it during the Toronto show.

I am hoping for another trip to Pine Knob. I had fun this year even with the rain.

Seems Comerica Park has been aggressive in the stadium summer show business for this upcoming year. Already have Billy Joel on the docket. Motley Crue/Def Leppard/Poison/Joan Jett show. Green Day/Weezer/Fall Out Boy show.
Wonder if they'll make a play for JB & The Reefers & try & package them up with somebody this summer?

UGH, I'll pass.
I like Pine Knob.

The above tours have been touted as stadium tours. Jimmy Buffett hasn’t played Comerica in few years. But with a new CD coming out all bets may be off.

Same deal in Chicago. Wrigley Field is taking shows out of other outdoor venues every summer. For the low, low price of $120 before fees, you can get a seat on the first or third baseline and still be a thousand miles from the stage, plus not be able to hear anything either.

Hoping we get an announcement soon. Noblesville, IN just got announced for Sat July 11th. That puts him close to us. I would guess that would put us on another Thursday or Tuesday, 9th or 14th, if we get a show. I hate the weekday shows but I'll take anything at Pine Knob!
Here's to hoping for an announcement soon. Last year was announced on the 3rd

I'll definitely be passing on anything at Comerica Park again. Went there twice when he was doing the stadium thing and both shows sucked. Acoustics are horrible and as mentioned earlier, the stage is too far away.
While I love seeing Jimmy at Pine Knob, weekday shows really seem to lack something. Thurs, Fri, or Sat shows are obviously ideal.
Hope we get an announcement here pretty soon.

If Detroit gets passed up I’m going to be sick. My son was born last year and we were w/o a show the previous year. I cannot go dry for 3 yrs.

That would be perfect for me as well. A Thursday works too. Only need to take my floating holiday for those days. I don’t have enough vacation to take for a Tuesday show.

He won't be playing Comerica...they have never done more than three shows in one season...it's to big of a strain on the outfield and they have those other shows booked.
Mauitim jumping in already is a sure sign that he is playing somewhere in mi. Tim always has the drop.
I hope it's not to late into the summer.........
I just found out we are having our first kid in mid August......so that really "turns things around" for me this year.
Last year show was kinda disaster for me so hoping for a reboot before the kid gets here
