Never made it to work today. Chest hurt to breathe this morning. Been lying around for the most part. Hopefully I'll get back tomorrow.

Good evening. It was 28 degrees with a wind chill of 17 this morning. I had a dentist appointment this afternoon and the office is less than a 5 minute walk from where I live. It was a bit brisk going there and back.

The cold that has been going around our work is a pretty bad strain. Almost everyone that has had it has been out for at least 2 days.
I have been gurgling Lysol to keep from getting it
So far, so good!

I got a call from the Judge's wife last evening (we were off Monday for the holiday). She apparently gave him what she had last week; 2 days of the flu, then back to work for a day and then a stomach bug (she is a speech therapist at a grade school). She wanted me to convince him to stay home today. She said I carry more weight than she does. So I called and yelled at him. He finally caved and stayed home. I'll still be spraying my lysol after him tomorrow.

Just be thankful y'all didn't get the pneumonia I've been battling since Christmas. Thank God it's not concert season or this would make for some very interesting tailgates.
