Our county is now on lockdown. Surprised they are running so late.

There's no place to go so I don't have to drive anyplace. I think I'll have a frosty beverage.

Evening. Another crazy day at the hospital. I will say it's nice not having visitors to deal with, but everyone (90% are employees) that comes in has to have their temperature taken. It's a digital thing, so don't have to deal with an old fashioned one. But they had to show me how to use it, since I cover the front desk every day.
We ordered dinner again from one of our few local restaurants, tonight was Italian. They were happy to see me when I picked it up.
We've not see my Mom in weeks, and I miss seeing her and doing puzzles/visiting. She's had a few bad days (confusion and anger) in the last few months, but when we visit, it's usually pretty good. Today the Director of the place she lives sent me and my sister this picture. She always smiles when her picture is being taken (even if it's a bad day), but she smiled even bigger when she was told it was being sent to us.

Aww Penny!
Glad you guys are supporting your local establishments!
Really nice pic of your mom too. I know that meant a lot to you & your sister! [smilie=hearts.gif]

Had that as well as 'are you guys stopping people & checking to see if they are essential personnel or just riding around' [smilie=shifty.gif]

Good morning! I am actually dressed (complete with bra and shoes

) for the first time since Sunday and I have make up on for the first time since March 16. I have to take the big dog to the vet, I'm pretty sure he has another ear infection. The vet is about 10 miles from me and I'm going there and straight back home.
Happy Friday everyone
So does the big guy have another ear infection?

A Public Service Announcement
If you receive an email with the subject line "Knock Knock"
do not open it.
It is a Jehovah's Witness working from home...

Yes unfortunately. But the vet said he is an overachiever...yeast infection in the right ear and yeast and bacteria in the left.

2 different meds, 1 for each ear and a steroid pill for inflammation. Wish there was a contraption to "clip" his ears together on top of his head so air can get to them.

At the vet you call from the parking lot, the vet tech comes out, talks to you, takes the patient inside and you wait in the car. Then the vet brings them back out to the car and puts them in the vehicle and gives you the diagnosis and treatment instructions. The vet tech comes out with the meds gets your card, goes inside to process the payment and brings the card and reciept out to you and you are on your way!
