Sad new for all Texas Parrotheads, as of this morning all 3 Jimmy Buffett shows scheduled for Texas in June have been cancelled as there was no way to reschedule them. Here are the 3 cancelled show dates:
AT&T Center – San Antonio, TX – Friday June 19
Dos Equis Pavilion – Dallas, TX – Sunday June 21
Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Houston, TX – Saturday June 27

I’m really confused now. I just received an email from LiveNation that says the following:
“We've worked with the event organizer to reschedule your event and make sure you still have the chance to attend. Your tickets are still valid for the new date.
Jimmy Buffett
Jimmy Buffett
YOUR NEW EVENT DATE IS:
June 27, 2020 @ 8:00 PM
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman”
I literately just received this email...

The June 27th Date for Houston was the original date for that show. The shows scheduled for NC, SC and TN were originally schedule for April and May and then moved to June. Those shows have now been moved to new dates again while the three Texas shows are cancelled
Here is the official announcement:
Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band are rescheduling their June concerts in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee to the following dates this fall:
Ascend Amphitheater – Nashville TN – Monday September 14
North Charleston Coliseum – N. Charleston SC – Thursday October 1
PNC Music Pavilion – Charlotte NC – Saturday October 3
Colonial Life Arena – Columbia SC – Thursday October 8
Coastal Credit Union Music Park – Raleigh NC – Saturday October 10
Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band are unfortunately unable to reschedule the following Texas dates, so they will no longer be happening:
AT&T Center – San Antonio, TX – Friday June 19
Dos Equis Pavilion – Dallas, TX – Sunday June 21
Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Houston, TX – Saturday June 27
As always, we appreciate your understanding. Fans with tickets to the Carolina and Tennessee dates are encouraged to hold on to your tickets, as they will be honored at the rescheduled dates in the fall.
If you are a ticket holder and cannot make the new date or your show has been cancelled, you will be contacted directly via email with refund options for your show. For more details, please visit www.livenation.com/refund

I totally understand. However, the email I just received from LiveNation is identical to the one they sent out back in March. It actually says our Houston show (that I know is canceled) is now scheduled for June 27.
The email is incorrect.

Live Nation did the same thing with the Raleigh show. I got an email today telling me the show was rescheduled for June 13. That was true a month ago, it's October 10 now. But there was a link in the email to request a refund, which is what I did.

We were hopeful that these shows would actually occur because Texas is opening up quickly. But it wasn’t meant to be.
We are watching the 2015 CWMP show as I write this. Thanks SunLover!

Live Nation is confusing. I never received a message when the show was rescheduled from May to June. Now the show is cancelled and they send me a message discussing the reschedule instead of the cancellation. I guess they are running 2 months behind.
Anyway...with the cancellation I guess we are looking at taking the T&A Tiki Bar to OKC in October. Anyone ever been? What is the tailgate like there?

Has anyone received their refund from LiveNation yet?
I requested my refund through the link they provided when the show was canceled.
Still nothing.
Why is it when we buy tickets, they charge our card immediately? But when we are due a refund, it takes forever? That doesn’t seem right.

They've been public about it taking up to 30 days to receive refunds due to the amount that they have to process.

I didn't have tickets to any of the Texas shows but I requested a refund for the Raleigh show and my AmEx card was credited 15 days later.

It has almost been 30 days and nothing from Live Natuon for me except the $25 parking pass.
I think they just ripped me off for $200+ in tickets.
Screw Live Nation!

Has anybody received their refund yet? We are officially past 30 days post-cancellation. I’m with Bucarader in thinking we may not ever see our money refunded.

We asked for a refund when the Aug 2020 Bristow/Manassas show was rescheduled to Aug 2021. Ticketmaster confirmed our request and said it could be 30 days. We got the refund on our credit card less than 15 days after our request for confirmed. Hoping yours gets back to you soon!

I am sure you will get it soon. with all the different concerts canceled it must be taking a while. Worst case, file a dispute with your credit card company. They will take care of it. I am keeping my tix for Red Rocks because they are so hard to get. Basically floating AXS $1,600 for 12 months.

I asked for a refund on May 24th for several shows and my card was credited on May 30th.
I did not get tickets for any of the Texas shows though...
