This line about fading hairline reminds me of a line from a TV show. The USA network has reruns of CSI (the original one in Las Vegas, not the spinoffs in NY and Miami) every morning at 6am. I DVR them and watch them later. The other day Capt. Brass was interviewing a suspect about a friend of his who got shot. The guy said "I met him 2 decades ago when I was riding my big wheel. We go back like your hairline."

At this point they're saying it's far enough out at sea that the only effect on the South Carolina coast might be rip currents. I don't know how to swim so I won't be going into the ocean. Any landfall is expected to be in the area of the outer banks in North Carolina late tonight or tomorrow. It's not hurricane strength though, so I guess that's a good thing. Only 40-50 mph wind instead of 75+.
well my plans to hang at our friend's pool again quickly vanished. The sun never appeared and now its dripping just enough to make it annoying so we can't do anything outside. But, the carpets and hardwood are clean.
We also finished a 500 piece puzzle that we started the last week of March. We would just try to put some pieces together when we passed by the table where it was laying. Problem is, that table is in the basement and usually the only time we are down there is when we go tap a beer (or 2, or 3...). Somehow we failed to see that puzzle laying there with pieces on a pile
Everything that needs to be done inside has been done & I am fully packed. Too early to start dinner (chili) so I guess I'll start the happy hour cheers [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Maybe we should start a puzzle at the beginning of the next PF (2021...2022...stupid corona...) & see how much gets completed.

I was driving to the park for my daily walk and it started raining. I detoured and did my senior citizen workout, walking the mall. Most stores are open but they're limiting the number of customers allowed in at one time so there are lots of lines outside stores. The overwhelming majority of people weren't wearing masks, a$$hats.
