Afternoon BNers.

Been working on a project. Started not long after everyone was suppose to wear masks. I have been crocheting an extender with buttons on each end . When wearing a mask, your ears get sore. Button the mask elastic to the extender and give your ears a rest.

Anyway, I have quite a few extenders done but could not find my buttons.
I ordered some but then realized they were coming from China....well maybe. Did get a message that they are in LA.
Ryan bought a bag of mixed buttons at Walmart today. Most don't match so I'm having fun trying to pair them up. Simple times.

I know what you mean TXA. Nicholas was looking forward to Star Wars land at Disney World. We pulled the plug. Even Jones Beach in August is looking doubtful for me to risk.

We did a quick few days on our way home from Jamaica. Star Wars land is amazing. We didn't get passes to ride any thing but just walking around....Wow!

My trip next month for Beach Bash in St. Augustine is a no go. Even if they had not cancelled it, I would not have gone. Still too early for me to be around that large of a group partying....

When I went to the Buffett show in Orange Beach 3 years ago I flew into Pensacola. On the return trip I had lunch at a bar in the airport, the Beach House I think. Or something beachy sounding like that.

I'm trying not to be depressed by all my trips that have been cancelled this spring and summer. My wandering toes are itching for a trip. My sensible brain is overriding them.

The only good thing about trips being cancelled is I have credit balances on 3 different credit cards.

Restaurants down here started reopening for dine in a couple of weeks ago. I tried a new one for lunch today, not just new for me but new, it opened last fall. It's a place called 44th & King (very original, it's on 44th Ave. & King's Hwy. ) and bills itself as a southern pub. I had a brisket sandwich, it was pretty good but it was about the fattiest brisket I've ever had. And I tried 2 new beers, both from South Carolina brewers - Dunkirk Pirate Irish Red and Lord Proprietor's English Mild Ale. They were both really good but if I had to choose I'd go with the Dunkirk Pirate. Can't go wrong with an Irish Red.

Saw the phone & beautiful photo. Didn't get too close as there was somone sitting under it.

Liz is working but not on the 'floor' per Scarlett (not Johansson) but said she would relay your msg. Umm, did ya know her real boyfriend's name is Paul?

It was drizzling when I left the airport & it's pouring now so I stopped at Gulf Coast Brewery to let it pass.

The girls there were talking about how long it's been since they've seen rain.

I left there & stopped at a bar on the water in Perdido Key that a local I talked to at the brewery recommended for a beer & food to go. It's down from the Publix so I'll stop for supplies on my way out

That happens to me in several places. My wife's a pretty good sport about it as long as they bring her a drink quickly.

I had so much fun coming back here yesterday, I thought another visit was in order.
