Good morning.

A new craft brewer was supposed to open in Barefoot Landing near Lulu's back in May but construction stopped in March. I've been taking a ride every couple of weeks since South Carolina reopened to see if anything is going on. I went yesterday and they have a very small outdoor bar with 2 taps. I tried one of the beers, South To Somewhere, a coconut golden ale. It was delicious. The guy at the bar told me they hope to be fully open, brewery and restaurant, by late October.

Burgers, Brew & Que is the only food show I watch. I've been to 2 places that have been on the show, Salt Lick in Texas and Hill Country Barbecue in New York. I didn't eat at Hill Country though, I went there a couple of times for concerts. When you walk in, the restaurant is at street level but downstairs they have live music.

Baked it with hot dogs cut up in it and with hot sauce on top. My gran daughter loves it that way.

20 Years ago, we would have sent in the BN Troops for that!!! Just like when the teacher gave PhatMatt (wonder whatever became of that kid) a bad grade on his JB Tailgating experience report...


For those who don't know.....PhatMatt was maybe in 6th or 7th grade, and a young ParrotHead. His mom brought him to a show (can't recall where that was, but maybe it was Indy) to meet all his BN friends. The kid went back and did a report in school sharing the experience, and the teacher gave him like a "C" or something on it. Many of us emailed the teacher...... . Guess ya had to be there.

Hey everyone! It's a beautiful Tuesday here in Lancaster Co PA.

I was just out for a lunch time stroll (since it is in the 80s and a little toasty walking while wearing a mask (as required by our governor).

Lots of bad news around the courthouse......

The Amish girl kidnapped 3 weeks ago while walking home from church is still missing even though they have a charged a guy with kidnapping her. He refuses to cooperate.

Then the woman who last year sped through a small local town at a high rate of speed in mid-afternoon, killing 2 high school students and injuring a 3rd, while being chased by police, just pled guilty. The families are furious -- they wanted her in front of a jury (although that is not their call). The plea was reached, in part, because the woman had a seizure right before the chase began.

And I am still staying home. I do have a Dr appt downtown Fri. Ugh. Anyone want to go for me????
